Just a few days after Spurs’ rumored purple third kit surfaced online, their is another version that has leaked with a minor difference.
The purple shirt will have yellow shoulder strips, whereas the Nike and Spurs official logo and the sponsor name too, will be printed in yellow. These color combinations are of a rarity, and looks like the Lilywhites have made an attempt to step into uncharted territory.
Purple kits, or ‘Spurple’, were last seen in the 2015/16 season which Tottenham again wore as their third kits. Those kits garnered rave reviews and were also deemed as one of the best kits of the season in the Premier League. This one though, is a cut above.
Not only is it more attractive, but the geometric designs on the front and back of the shirt add to the gloss of it. The fans on the other hand, are already flattered and cannot wait to get their hands on one.
The colour of purple signifies ‘ambition’ out of the many other things, and that quality is something this team so intimately anthropomorphizes.
