This absolute pliedriver early this year shows Mo Salah might be taking free kicks for Liverpool next season

The next season and all the challenges it will bring along may still be weeks away, but for Liverpool fans, it already began when their club completed the signing of Mohamed Salah.

The 25-year old has been the biggest source of optimism for Reds supporters in their belief that 2017-18 will bring some much-awaited silverware to the club.

Salah’s arrival to Anfield from Roma for £34.3 million last month was based on the confidence that manager Jurgen Klopp reposed in him, especially keeping in mind his speed and experience as game-changer.

Consider his stunning freekicks, for example. The Egyptian had single-handedly managed to secure a 1-0 win for his national side with a fiery strike from the spot during a group encounter against Ghana in the African Cup of Nations held earlier this year.

A single look at a video of the goal below will prove just why Salah should step up every time Liverpool win a freekick next season.
