Incoming Leeds man Samuel Saiz struck this absolute piledriver for Huesca early this year (Video)

Leeds United are on the brink of unveiling their latest signing Samuel Saiz from Huesca, and the recent video clip of the Spaniard’s piledriver has added to the frenzy surrounding his move.

In a league game against Girona in the Segunda division in May this year, Huesca were trailing 2-0 until minutes before the half-time whistle. But Saiz halved the deficit with a breath-taking volley to give his side a breather before going into the break.

Having fought off the challenge from a Girona player, the Real Madrid graduate unleashed a ferocious volley into the top corner of the net as the crowd was enraptured at what they had just witnessed. Huesca may have gone on to lose the game 3-1, but the goal was a timely reminder of the outrageous talent that Saiz is.

With the deal almost in the bag, it is only a matter of time that he is unveiled by his new club. Saiz definitely has the potential to be one of the signings of the season, and would light up the Championship with a handful of more goals like these.
