Leeds United took another stride in preparations for the next season by announcing the signing of Samuel Saiz from Spanish club SD Huesca on Monday.
26-year old “Samu” Saiz (as he likes to be called) is an attacking midfielder who can also double up as a forward when required. Although the fee involved in the transfer has not been disclosed, Leeds are said to have paid £3 million to bring Saiz to Elland Road.
The player, who has previously come up the ranks of huge Spanish sides like Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, is expected to be a brilliant signing for Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen. Or at least that is what his old employers promise.
Just after Leeds announced Samu’s signing on Twitter, the official Twitter account of SD Huesca replied back claiming they will have fun with the player and gave best wishes to his new club for the next season.
