Not sure how City fans will react to this tweet from incoming Tottenham man Kyle Walker slating them back in 2012

Money rules, the new non-debatable law of modern football. Loyalty has become the least of priorities for the new generation of players, adding to this list is none other than Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur) who is almost a done deal to sign for Manchester City according to a lot of recognized publishing agencies.

This would be the 3rd signing of the season for the Manchester based side, compared to Spurs who are yet to announce a signing.

Walker had an excellent 2016-17 at White hart Lane making 33 appearances while conceding just 21 goals and with 14 clean sheets. Spurs had the least goals away(26) during the season for which he was selected in the PFA team of the year alongside this teammate, Danny Rose.

The stats just prove his importance in the squad and how his departure might leave an everlasting hole in the defense line which would be interesting to watch how Spurs cope up with next season.

If he settles well in the squad, Walker would be a great asset for the Pep Guardiola led side who have let go 3 of their full backs.

But a tweet from Englishman back in 2012, absolutely ripping the Citizens apart, has started doing the rounds lately and it’s the kind which could have a┬álasting impressions on the city fans. Check it out below –
