Twitter activity suggest Tim Krul is not one bit happy with the way he’s being treated at Newcastle

We all remember Tim Krul for his heroics in the quarter finals of 2014 World Cup against Costa Rica, where he was brought on by Louis van Gaal as a 120th-minute substitute for the penalty shootout and he also managed to save two of the five penalties he faced as the Netherlands won 4–3.

But lately the Dutchman’s career has seen a bit of a downfall. After spending half of the season at Ajax and the later half at AZ Alkmaar on loan from Newcastle United, Krul struggled to find a place in the Rafael Benitez’s squad.

The Spaniard has been closely monitoring players like Henri Saivet , Tim Krul, Siem De Jong and Emmanuel Riviere who are training with their United team-mates for the first time in almost a year.

But it seems a decision has been made on Krul after the goalkeeper was left off of Magpies’ pre-season tour of Ireland.

The fans aren’t happy about it with many of them showing discontent on social media. Tim Krul also showed his displeasure after liking a post by a fan that was questioning Benitez’s decision.
