The Internet, over the years, has helped all of us explore a world full of possibilities, and a concept that is particularly very noble and has caught a lot of attention in recent times is Crowdfunding.

Crowdfunding is generally used for social causes or creative projects, but it looks like Tottenham fans have taken the phrase “A journey of a thousand miles starts with a little step” way too seriously as they have set up a JustGiving page to bring Gareth Bale back home to London.

What is even more surprising is that some fans are supporting this outrageous idea by donating, as the page has already accumulated £70.

Bale was a fan favourite during his 6 year stint at White Hart Lane, but in 2013 Real Madrid came up with a massive offer to lure the Welsh international, making him the most expensive player in the world at that time.

Levy got big money, but a lot of it was wasted on players like Roberto Soldado, Etienne Capoue and Vlad Chiriches. The Spurs faithful still miss Bale because no one has been able to fill his boots over the years.

The aim of the JustGiving page is to raise £1,000,000 to provide for the financial package required for Bale’s transfer, but surely it wouldn’t be enough to sign one of the best wingers in the game, would it?

The idea might seem crazy, but imagine the scenes if Bale actually returns. Eriksen, Dele Alli and Bale, alongside Kane, Spurs’ attack will be every team’s nightmare.
