From undergoing a series of crisis situations that marred the previous season, to a sense of optimism that comes along with the next one, life for Leeds United fans has turned a full circle in the last few months.
The club, which suffered negative publicity because of Garry Monk’s shocking departure, desperately needed to give the fans something to cheer about.
Enter, Andrea Radrizzani.
Ever since the Italian businessman became the sole owner of Leeds United, the club has been invigorated with a fresh lease of life. Radrizzani has been instrumental in overhauling the team with a new manager and fresh signings this summer.
His successful attempt at bringing Elland Road back under the club’s ownership for the first time since 2004 has earned him immense plaudits.
It’s precisely because of reasons like these that Radrizzani has become almost a cult figure for the Peacocks faithful; and this was proven when a picture of him doing the ‘Leeds Salute’ during the win over Bolton on Sunday became an instant hit with the fans.
