Despite several close chances and some entertaining football that was on display at Elland Road, Leeds United’s clash with Fulham ended in a goalless draw on Wednesday.
The two sides fought hard to trump each other and came very close to doing so on several instances, but luck favoured none and they had to end up sharing a point each.
Kamara and Cisse led the charge for Fulham and dominated most parts of the first half, coming close to breaking the deadlock with several good attempts that were thwarted successfully.
The best chance to score, however, belonged to Chris Wood. The Championship’s top goal scorer in 2016-17 had his one-on-one attempt saved at the last moment by Fulham goalkeeper David Button.
Wood’s attacking forays frustrated his opponents greatly, but it appeared that instead of Fulham players, their Twitter admin was the most disgruntled because of them.
