For a club whose fans were highly critical of the inactivity during the entire summer, Tottenham surely did a great job with some shrewd signings before the end of the window.
After completing Argentine defender Juan Foyth’s move from Estudiantes, Mauricio Pochettino managed to land ex-Swansea striker Fernando Llorente and PSG’s Serge Aurier in a big last-day coup that left fans excited.
Llorente brings along with him a lot of experience in a young Spurs team, while Aurier will be an ideal replacement for Kyle Walker, and 19-year old Foyth is touted to play a big part in the club’s future.
The trio have already become a hit, albeit for all the wrong reasons as Spurs fans noticed their inability to say “Come on you Spurs” properly during their unveiling.
