While match promos usually feature a compilation of teams scoring spectacular goals or making last-ditch challenges, the West Ham-Tottenham Hotspur promo recently released by SBS Sport was anything but usual.
Spectacular to say, at least from a Spurs standpoint.
The promo made by the South Korean broadcaster features the likes of Son Heung-Min, Harry Kane, Javier Hernandez and Mauricio Pochettino hilariously superimposed in what looks like a short clip from an old Korean film of sorts.
A fallen Son is seen being encouraged to rise up for the fight against Hernandez by manager Pochettino and his Spurs teammates. The South Korean star being spurred by the support eventually rises to fight a gangsta looking Hernandez with the promo ending in a fight between the two.
Hilarious as it was, it was a brilliant piece of work by SBS Sport who are no doubt eager for homeboy Son and his Spurs team to come away with a positive result against West Ham this weekend.
