(Video) Everton’s Tom Davies showing his eye for a goal with a sick strike in England U21 training

While Tottenham have supplied the bulk of the players for the English national team in recent years, the inclusion of Harry Winks after the withdrawal of Fabian Delph certainly raised a lot of eyebrows.

Many expected promising Everton midfielder Tom Davies to get the nod over Winks with Davies boasting a far stronger pedigree at club football. Instead Davies will continue to play for the England U-21 side as they face off against Scotland.

While only time will tell if Southgate made the right decision in picking Winks over Davies, the Everton youngster recently scored a belter of a goal in training to remind everyone of his prodigious talent.

Receiving the ball near the edge of the box, the midfielder came up with a sumptuous strike that nestled into the top right corner leaving the keeper with no chance.
