Moussa Sissoko’s stint at Tottenham Hotspur has been a slow burner slow far with the versatile midfielder facing a lot of stick from the Spurs fans since his big money move from Newcastle United.

However the Frenchman’s perseverance to stay this summer and fight for a place in the starting lineup is starting to pay dividends. Sissoko has found a new lease of life this season, starting regularly on the right hand side in a formidable attacking setup.

Taking on his marker, the wide man left him for dead with a perfectly executed nutmeg in opposition territory. Surrounded by a slew of defenders, Sissoko showed immaculate composure under pressure as he created a chance out of nothing.
