Pic: Even West Ham chairman David Gold seems to approve of this starting XI for the Burnley game

Still yet to win a league match on their travels this season, West Ham United will be gunning for their first away win when they travel to Burnley this weekend. And as customary as it has become, various fan lineups for the Burnley game were doing the rounds in social media circles.

And while it is the manager who decides who gets to play and who gets dropped in the end, one particular lineup from a West Ham fan was so utterly convincing that even West Ham co-chairman David Gold approved of the line up on his Twitter handle.

Gold, who is actively involved in social media posted the words ‘interesting’ along with a link of the lineup from the fan.

It does remain to be seen if the particular line up can convince manager Slaven Bilic too.

Check out the Gold endorsed lineup below:

  1. If we’re gonna play wide men up front then has to be Carroll starting not Hernandez. Otherwise against a side like Burnley, might be better with a midfield diamond, pulling Obiang back to holding, dropping Noble in on the right & pairing Hernandez with Sakho up front. If no breakthrough by 60 mins, bring Carroll on for either striker & Antonio or Arnautovic for Noble, probably Antonio on the right. Also hope like stink Lanzini doesn’t get crocked again.
