(Video) Graham Dorrans would have absolutely loved this chanting from the Rangers fans last night

Local boy on a roll!

Graham Dorrans has made a decent start after making a permanent move from Norwich City to his boyhood club Rangers back in July. The Scottish midfielder has now scored 5 goals in 9 games so far this season, including a late goal during the 3-0 win against St. Johnstone last night.

The goal and performance on the night was cherished so much by the Gers fans that they went on chanting his name for almost over a minute, making Graham realize that he is one of their own. Chants like these define the bond between a football player and the fans, making it the beautiful game.

With an important win for the Rangers last night who were tied on points with St.Johnstone before the game, the Glasgow club is now breathing down the neck of their arch-rivals and current league leaders Celtic.

Can their new hero inspire the club to the title this season? That remains to be seen. Check out the chanting below –

  1. Expected “Up to our knees in Fenian blood” or a reminder that Bobby Sands is dead. They were the most frequent chants last night. Oh, and the Lisbon Lions dying seemed quite popular too.
