Widely regarded as one of the best Celtic players at his age, Kieran Tierney has also been tipped to become an eventual Celtic captain and legend in the near future.
The 20-year-old became the club’s youngest captain in a competitive game when he wore the armband earlier this year in August earning effusive praise from Brendan Rodgers who went so far as to claim that Tierney was ‘made’ to be Celtic captain.
Rodgers once again handed the armband to Tierney last week against Dundee in the absence of Scott Brown. And a picture of the young Scot leading out the team has been doing the rounds for all the right reasons.
The picture of Tierney, a lad still only 20 years of age leading out his boyhood team sure is a delightful and stirring sight to witness bound to leave one feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
