Despite the damp weather, it was all cheers for Leeds United on Saturday as they came away with a very impressive 3-0 win away at Bristol City to once more reinforce their promotion credentials this season.
One man at the heart of it all was 19-year-old midfielder Ronaldo Vieira who ran the show for the Whites. The England U-20 star was unplayable on the night as he defended and attacked at will with the Bristol midfield never really coming to grips with the performance of the youngster, a fact best attested by Jens Hegeler’s hopeless effort to contain Vieira during one instance of the match when Vieira barged past by him.
Having being effortlessly overpowered by the Leeds man, Hegeler could not help but resort to wildly pull Vieira’s shirt in the last ditch attempt to stop him. The shirt tug though mattered little to Vieira as he continued to drag a fallen Hegeler through the grass making for what was a hilarious sight to witness.
