Anfield resigned to lose their star man?
It was considered a victory for the club when Jurgen Klopp refused to give in to transfer demands of Philippe Coutinho and refused a transfer to Barcelona in the summer. The American based Liverpool owners backed Klopp’s decision, leading to the diminutive attacker being restored to the starting lineup.
Fast forward to October and the in-demand player is already rumored to make a transfer move in January. But it seem, there’s another European heavyweight interested in the Brazilian’s signature as Coutinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian was spotted in deep discussions with the PSG’s Sporting Director Antero Henrique recently.
The chance to play with his childhood friend Neymar and a ridiculously high wage packet might be enough to lure the Brazilian away from the Reds as they find themselves struggling at 9th in the league.
All the speculation regarding Coutinho’s future might count for nothing in the end though as his agent represents a few of PSG first-teamers as well.
