Professional footballers often train in some of the most technically advanced environments to hone their skills. But sometimes, they also take to more modest environments to show off their wares.
Such was the case with 22-year-old Guinean midfielder Naby Keïta, who decided to display his ball control techniques by bouncing a ball with his right foot against a wall in an empty flat.
Liverpool fans took an instant liking to the video, which quickly went viral amongst them.
The furniture-less apartment, the bare feet, and Keïta’s reluctance to use his left foot, all became talking points, as the fans dissected the player’s potential, who is all set to transfer to Liverpool from German domestic side RB Leipzig in the 2018 season.
