Needless to say that Leeds fans were impatient for a win after seven defeats in nine games in the EFL Championship.
The drought ended last night as the Whites prevailed over Garry Monk’s Middlesbrough in a much needed win, thanks to goals from Pablo Hernández and Ezgjan Alioski.
The cameras went straight to manager Thomas Christiansen (TC) and owner Andrea Radrizzani (Radz) sharing a poignant and relieved hug at the full time whistle in Elland Road.
The looks on their faces during the embrace showed how much the win meant to them and the team’s promotion prospects.
The fans, too, must be breathing a huge sigh of relief of their own, and they will be hoping that this triumph will be one of many more to come.
