David Moyes recorded his first win as the Hammers boss after West Ham stunned Antonio Conte’s Chelsea with a shock 1-0 victory at home on Saturday.
The Blues looked a shadow of their usual selves and were unable to break down a stubborn Hammers side who went ahead inside 10 minutes through Marko Arnautovic.
Fans at the London Stadium loved the renewed grit and heart shown by the team as they somehow managed to thwart Chelsea’s fleet of attacking players.
With the players fighting for the win on the pitch, former Hammer Stuart Pearce also got into the action with a trademark clearance into the stands.
Adrian threw the ball out of play and the the former England left-back came out of the dugout to hammer it into the stands. The kick was met by a host of boos from the the traveling support as the Chelsea fans were enraged at the attempt to wind down the clock.
Hammers fans however, were roaring at the show of passion from the English legend and cheered for the assistant coach.
