With Jack Wilshere himself admitting the uncertainty surrounding his future recently, the England international is running out of chances to impress Arsene Wenger.
Perhaps that was playing on his mind as he played the full 90 minutes in an Arsenal shirt for the first time in 577 days against the Hammers following an injury to Aaron Ramsey.
The midfielder managed to raise quite a few eyebrows during the game, reminding critics of his immense potential and was seen controlling the strings from midfield alongside a rather quite Xhaka.
Wilshere looked the best attacking player on the pitch providing many moments of ingenuity and fans were especially excited at one instance when the creative player looked to roll back the years and absolutely destroyed Mark Noble with a filthy turn to leave the Hammers man red-faced.
