Mo Salah was named PFA player of the year for the 2018/19 season after scoring an astonishing 31 goals so far in the Premier League following his arrival from Roma.
The brilliant Egyptian came out on top against a host of top stars including the likes of Harry Kane and Kevin De Bruyne, who were billed as the favourites to win the accolade just a few months ago.
If things stand as it is, the Egyptian will also win the Golden Boot award preventing Harry Kane from topping the scoring charts in England for the third successive time.
Kane drew a lot of criticism last week after the striker almost desperately claimed to have got the final touch on a free kick by team-mate Christian Eriksen against the Potters, which kick started an online trolling fiesta on the England International.
Dejan Lovren has now joined in on the fun by cheekily referring to the 24-year-old as “Mr. Touch” as the defender jokingly commented that he voted for Kane on Mo Salah’s Instagram post.
