(Video) BBC World Cup programme featuring a Russian superfan shows Celtic are truly everywhere

BBC’s World Cup special should go down really well with Hoops fans as it features Frankie Boyle meeting lifelong Celtic fan Denis McGoalach.

The Russian superfan took up a Scottish name and also founded a football club based on his own version of his beloved Hoops to express his boundless love for Celtic and Scotland.

The pure joy on Denis’ face is a sight to behold as he talks about how started Celtic Shatura, an amateur side based 77 miles from Moscow, and modeled them on the Parkhead club.

Denis looks and sounds more Scottish than Russian and Hoops fans seemed overjoyed to get insight into the football mad Russian on social media.
