Manchester United new boy Fred made a fine impression at Old Trafford in his debut game versus Leicester City last weekend. Other than a couple of nervy moments, the Brazilian looked right at home and provided some much needed creativity from deep midfield – something that the Red Devils sorely missed during last season’s campaign.
The 25-year-old linked up well with star midfielder Paul Pogba, leading the Frenchman to laud his performance. Pogba, alongwith Eric Bailly, were also spotted encouraging his new teammate in the tunnel ahead of the game.
Bailly gave Fred a big hug before stand in skipper Pogba put an arm around him as the players made their way out for the warm up.
United fans will be pleased to see players going out of their way to make their new teammate feel at home, specially their talisman Pogba, who reportedly isn’t on good terms with his manager and is rumored to still harbor hopes of a move to Barcelona.
