The international break is finally over and Premier League action is set to make a swift return on Saturday with Jurgen Klopp’s unbeaten Liverpool side aiming to make it five wins out of five when they travel to Wembley to take on fellow title contenders Tottenham Hotspur.
The match also marks the start of a series of tough fixtures for the Reds, the results of which could potentially decide which way their season goes. Klopp’s men are scheduled to play seven times in three weeks and will have to be at their best if they wish to emerge without too many scars.
But despite the brutal schedule – which begins with Spurs and includes league fixtures against direct title rivals Chelsea and defending Champions Manchester City – Liverpool fans appear quite confident about their team’s chances.
It has to be said that having spent a lot of money to strengthen their squad over the summer, last year’s Champions League finalists do look like the team to beat and their unblemished record so far has instilled a sense of fearlessness among supporters.
Check out Liverpool’s challenging schedule, including their dangerous European fixtures, and look at how their fans are reacting to it:
