Celtic overcame Norwegian champions Rosenborg 1-0 at Celtic Park in their Europa League opener on Thursday. While the game looked like it was going to end in a stalemate, a late strike from Leigh Griffiths ensured that Celtic secured the three points.

Celtic’s dynamic full-back Kieran Tierney was the star of the show for the Hoops as he was constant threat down the left flank. The 21-year-old Scot had the beating of Rosenborg defender Vegar Eggen Hedenstad all game and his performance secured him the Man of the Match award.

There was one moment in the first-half where Tierney skipped past Hedenstad with ease and left the Norwegian on his backside. The moment was indicative of the dominance Tierney enjoyed over the right-back all game.

Check out the moment below:

Tierney, who was linked with a move to Everton in the summer, recently committed his future to the Scottish giants. If he can keep producing performances like this, there is no doubt that the 21-year-old is well on his way to becoming a club legend.
