Six matches into the new season and Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is still struggling to produce his best form on the pitch under new manager Unai Emery.

Even though the Gunners have bounced back with four wins on the trot after beginning the campaign on a poor note with losses against Manchester City and Chelsea, their 29-year-old midfield maestro’s lack of desire to fight for the ball has been slammed by pundits.

The German again had a mixed night during the North London team’s 2-0 victory against Everton on Sunday. While he looked disinterested for large parts of the game, Ozil did play a big part in the second goal, scored by Aubameyang.

In between, the midfielder also had time to conjure up something special when he went on to nutmeg Kurt Zouma in his usual languid style.

The moment was brilliantly captured by Arsenal’s chief photographer and would have reminded people why Ozil is regarded as one of the most technically gifted players in football.
