Celtic overcame Aberdeen 1-0 at Celtic Park yesterday courtesy of a second half strike from substitute Scott Sinclair. The win took the Glasgow giants to fourth position in the Scottish Premiership, one place ahead of their local rivals Rangers who take the field on Sunday.

The first hour of the game was pretty even with both sides having their fair share of chances but the score stayed at 0-0 thanks to a combination of some bad luck in front of goal and some brilliant goalkeeping. It all changed in the 63rd minute of the game, when the ball fell to Sinclair after a scramble in the Aberdeen box. Sinclair produced a brilliant moment of inspiration when he back-heeled the ball into the back of the net before Joe Lewis in the Aberdeen goal could react.

While Celtic fans were pretty impressed with Sinclair’s equalizer, they also spotted midfielder Tom Rogic going absolutely ecstatic in the background. The 25-year-old Australian reacted to goal by letting out a cry of delight as he had both his arms up in the air.
