Barry Douglas seems to be settling in nicely at Leeds United after his £3 million move from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer.
The left-back has already become a key member of Marcelo Bielsa’s squad and has played his part quite well in their impressive start to the season. Other than being a solid presence in defence, the 29-year-old has already assisted in three goals in the Whites’ opening ten matches.
While he has earned rave reviews for his performances, the Elland Road faithful will be pleased to see that Douglas is adapting to life at his new club off the pitch too.
In a clip doing the rounds on the internet, the new boy showed he is fully aware of Leeds United’s bitter rivalry with Manchester United when he stopped himself from using the color red while drawing a picture of himself.
After getting the classic ‘running down the wing for me’ chant attached to his name, Douglas looks like he’s well on his way to becoming a fan-favorite with this brilliant clip. Check it out:
Barry Douglas doesn't use the colour red when drawing a picture of himself cos "That's the Leeds thing, ain't it".
