After thrashing Huddersfield 4-0 the last time they visited the Kirklees Stadium, Tottenham picked off where they left with another convincing 2-0 win against the Terriers on Saturday.

Harry Kane was amongst the goals yesterday, bagging a deserved brace in a game that was thoroughly dominated by the visitors. The gulf in quality was evident on the pitch as well as on the table after the match with the victory taking Spurs to fourth and sending Huddersfield crashing down to the bottom of the table.

While some supporters may sympathize with the Terriers for their poor form, Spurs fans were left amused after the antics of their mascot during the game. The Huddersfield mascot definitely raised a few eyebrows after performing the floss dance as Kane was stepping up to take his penalty in the first half.

But with the England skipper burying his spot kick, the mascot has only himself to blame for being the subject of some hilarious banter on social media from the Spurs fans later on.
