Rangers moved to top of their group in the Europa league after a comfortable 3-1 win against Rapid Vienna at Ibrox on Thursday night. Alfredo Morelos was in superb form for the Gers and bagged a goal either side of a James Tavenier penalty against their Austrian counterparts.

Following their disappointing 1-0 loss against Livingston, the emphatic result will definitely bolster the confidence in Gerrard’s camp as they look to come back strong in the Premiership.

The home crowd was also buoyed by the performance and were having a field day watching their team play some good football. While several chants were heard from the home crowd, it was the Gers’ famous ‘Bouncy’ celebration after the second goal that caught the eye most as the Light Blues jumped up and down in sheer joy.
