Ever since Mauricio Pochettino took over as Tottenham Hotspur manager in 2014, the Lilywhites have transformed into consistent challengers for the top four Premier League spots.
Having qualified for the Champions League for three successive years, Pochettino’s men have again started the 2018/19 campaign strongly and are just two points behind the summit after 8 league matches.
While their spirited performances on the pitch have made sure they’ve kept pace with big English clubs in terms of popularity, the North London club seems to be getting some attention in the entertainment biz too.
In news that will delight Spurs fans, well known British comedian Karl Pilkington, who is coming back from a self-imposed exile with his new show ‘Sick of It’ in which he stars as a down-on-his-luck taxi-driver with an alter-ego, was spotted donning a Tottenham Hotspur jersey during one of its episodes.
