Having rescued a point for Leeds United in the controversial 1-1 draw against Brentford with a late header, a charged up Pontus Jansson let his frustrations known while being interviewed by Sky Sports after the final whistle.
The match had seen some contentious decisions made by the referee – most of which went against Leeds – and the 27-year-old defender termed it as robbery to the reporter. While Pontus’ emotional comments have resulted in him being charged by the FA, the passion he feels for the Whites was quite evident.
The Swedish international has become a firm fan-favorite at Elland Road over the past couple of years and his sweet gesture moments after the fiery interview shows us exactly why.
In a clip doing the rounds on Twitter, Pontus can be seen applauding the crowd while walking over to the stands before making a young fan’s day by gifting him his match jersey and also patiently posing for a selfie or two.
