Harry Winks had to endure a difficult time last year as injuries condemned him to miss the latter half of Tottenham’s season while also keeping him out of the England’s squad for the World Cup in Russia.

However, the talented youngster has come back stronger and looks like he’s starting to get back to his best.

Having played the full 90 minutes in Spurs’s 1-0 victory against Cardiff City last weekend, the 22-year-old was handed just his 2nd international cap by England manager Gareth Southgate during last night’s impressive 3-2 victory against Spain in a UEFA Nations League encounter.

Even though the Three Lions did not see much of possession, Winks was an assured presence in midfield.

Putting in an authoritative shift, the midfielder showed plenty of passion and wasn’t shy of getting involved in the thick of things with the Spanish players.

Despite his inexperience, Winks was a picture of confidence and footage of him giving instructions to his teammates in the tunnel further proves the point.

Tottenham fans are going to love watching the ‘other Harry’ looking so assured despite his age. Check out the clip below:
