Three goals in the dying minutes of the game ensured Steven Gerrard got his first away win of the season as Rangers saw off Hamilton 4-1 to move just five points behind table-toppers Hearts.

But the day wasn’t just about the action unfolding on the pitch at the SuperSeal Stadium as both sets of spectators came together to offer a fitting tribute to a diehard Gers supporter who tragically passed away recently.

Providing us with a lovely moment in the 28th minute of the match, the entire stadium rose in unison to remember Grant Armitage, a lifelong fan of the Glasgow club who sadly lost his battle with cancer after fighting with the disease for more than six years.

A few fans even came armed with banners to show their appreciation for Grant, who was a popular figure amongst them, and were spotted unfurling them in honour of his memory.

A classy gesture this by everyone involved!
