Arsenal overcame a scratchy start to secure a 3-1 victory against Leicester City, their 10th on the trot in all competitions.
Having fallen behind in the 31st minute through an own goal, Unai Emery’s men made a remarkable recovery while playing some irresistible football led by a revitalized Mesut Ozil.
The much maligned German was in sensational form last night, orchestrating the fight back with some defence-splitting passes while also providing the pivotal moment by calmly slotting in the equalizer after a brilliant move that was also started by him.
Even though Ozil deservingly won the most plaudits for his masterclass performance that also included an assist, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alex Iwobi were also class apart.
While the Gabonese international scored twice within minutes of coming on as a substitute, the 22-year-old Iwobi, who’s in the form of his life, was heavily assertive throughout and even won man of the match despite not scoring or providing an assist.
The 3 players are on fire at the moment and were captured animatedly celebrating a goal in what is an epic picture from the match.
