Newcastle United are still without a win this season after their goalless draw away to Southampton on Saturday.
A point though can be seen as a positive result for a side that was coming off three consecutive defeats prior to the game and currently lies in the relegation zone after 10 matches.
Even though it’s been the worst start to the season for the Magpies in 120 years, their fans continue to offer full support to the team and manager Rafael Benitez while blaming owner Mike Ashley for his lack of investment in the club.
Some 2000 of them who had traveled to St. Mary’s to cheer for Rafa’s men, showed just how passionate they are when they completely drowned out the home spectators’ chanting their anthem “Oh When the Saints” by responding raucously with their own version “Oh When the Mags”.
Sheer passion this from Toon supporters and they deserve much better results for the way they continue to turn up and cheer for their team.
