Overcoming his nightmare debut against Wolves a week before, Juan Foyth put in an assured performance at the heart of Tottenham’s defence to help them scrape past Crystal Palace at Selhust Park on Saturday.



In a match where it rained continuously, the 20-year-old looked composed on the ball and was strong in challenge, capping off an impressive display with his first Premier League goal, one that proved to be the difference between the two sides.

The Argentine’s exploits during the game didn’t go unnoticed as he received a big hug from goalkeeping coach Toni Jimenez when the players made their way off the field after the final whistle.
