While it’s too early to judge whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been a success at Manchester United, he’s certainly given the fans something to cheer about after his first two games in charge.

Playing with the brakes on even against weaker teams was one of the major criticisms Jose Mourinho faced while he was in charge of United but the Norwegian doesn’t seem to have any problem in letting his attacking players off the leash judging by United’s performances against Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town.

Of course being a club legend has helped him settle well in the dugout and also being pretty open about his constant interaction with Sir Alex Ferguson has only added to the positivity around his appointment.

The caretaker manager also gave United fans something to smile about yesterday even after the 3-1 win by referring to Sir Alex as the “only” boss around during a light moment with journalists before the post-match presser.
