We all remember Tim Krul for his heroics in the quarter finals of 2014 World Cup against Costa Rica, where he was brought on by Louis van Gaal as a 120th-minute substitute for the penalty shootout and he also managed to save two of the five penalties he faced as the Netherlands won 4–3.
But lately the Dutchman’s career has seen a bit of a downfall. After spending half of the season at Ajax and the later half at AZ Alkmaar on loan from Newcastle United, Krul struggled to find a place in the Rafael Benitez’s squad.
The Spaniard has been closely monitoring players like Henri Saivet , Tim Krul, Siem De Jong and Emmanuel Riviere who are training with their United team-mates for the first time in almost a year.
But it seems a decision has been made on Krul after the goalkeeper was left off of Magpies’ pre-season tour of Ireland.
The fans aren’t happy about it with many of them showing discontent on social media. Tim Krul also showed his displeasure after liking a post by a fan that was questioning Benitez’s decision.

What a great night it was for the United fans, scoring five on their first match to kick off the pre-season campaign on a high against LA Galaxy. To add on to their joy were two goals from their wonder kid Marcus Rashford who was later substituted to bring on Romelu Lukaku.
The night didn’t turn out to be that good for the £75 million striker who was on his debut. Another talking point of the match was the young Brazilian international Andreas Pereira who joined back the squad after a year long loan spell at Granada.
The Brazilian went viral after pulled off a spectacular turn during the game sending Jermaine Jones (LA Galaxy) in the wrong direction, it was one of the highlights of the match as the Reds usually expect such tricks from Pogba.
Pereira hasn’t really got much opportunity to prove himself in the senior squad even though he made his premier league debut back in March 2015. But it looks like the 2017-18 season is going to be quite fruitful for the mid-fielder after a promising performance in UCLA, where Pereira has also sported a new training number – 15.
He could become the fourth academy graduate to have their squad number bumped up by Mourinho and receive the recognition they are a full-time first-team squad member.

After an impressive Sydney tour with two victories, the Gunners have now landed in China where they’ll be playing against their Premier League rivals Chelsea and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The Arsenal squad received an epic reception at the Airport by the Chinese fans earlier today.
Fans could be heard cheering the names of the Arsenal players on top of their voice and the players too looked amused by the enormous amount of support, and were seen capturing or recording the moment.
Oliver Girould was quoted saying “I’ve never been to China, so it’s going to be a new adventure for us and me” which shows even the players are excited about the tour.
The Gunners will be playing Bayern on 19th in Shanghai and Chelsea on 22nd at Beijing. The fixtures here are way too difficult than what they faced in Australia, so there would be some interesting contests to watch out for and pure entertainment for the fans.
It would be a great moment for the Chinese football fans seeing the football giants of the world face each other on their soil. With all the fuss about Alexis Sanchez going on, it would be interesting how things turn out on this tour for Arsene Wenger.

The third kit of a team is considered to be the most unique, and it always one of the shirts fans look forward to utter interest every season.
And it seems Chelsea fans have got their wish a little early this time around. The social media thinks new boy Billy Gilmour’s family and friends might have leaked the 3rd Chelsea kit as a photo of the entire family wearing the kit circulated online after his first outing for the U23 side.
The family members were wearing the Chelsea kit with Gilmour printed on the back. If indeed it comes out to be true, then Nike have done some really great work making that kit after all the unimaginative work with the home and away kits.
This kit may actually become fans favourite as there is none of such kind in the premier league and looks quite fascinating. Man City’s 2016-17 away kit was also an example of Nike’s exemplary which gained a lot of
appreciation from the City fans.
Check out the photo below –
CD Palencia gained all type of humiliation because of their 2016-17 kit, the new Spurs training kit isn’t too far off from that.
Ebbsfleet United’s official Twitter posted a photo of young Tottenham players training in their new training kit, which they reckon looked “complicated” and quite indeed it is.
Its hard for the fans and even the opponents to digest the fact that Nike can up with something like that. It wasn’t long ago when the home and away kits of Spurs and Chelsea respectively leaked in USA and Nike were criticized for their lack of imagination.
After signing a new deal with Nike, Spurs would be earning three times more than they earlier for for their Under Armour deal.
All the fans can hope is Nike come up with something better before the season starts or there is gonna be lot of trolls coming up soon.

Chelsea’s hunt for a striker doesn’t look like stopping, after their prime target, Romelu Lukaku joined Manchester United last week they extended their search to Spain and Germany.
Rumors of a Alvaro Morata bid popped up a while ago, and the latest to join their target list could very well be Italian striker Andrea Bellotti after a recent interesting development.
According to Italian website Galassia Granata, apparently a fan spotted a Chelsea sticker on his luggage, which looks like a good sign for the English champions but also causing a big stir in Italy.
Check out a picture of the same below –
Bellotti had an amazing 2016-17 season at Torino scoring 28 goals in 38 matches, he would be a difficult guy to let go for a striker to be in such a sublime form as he is.
On the other hand Chelsea who are already in talks with Atletico to sell off Diego Costa will be looking for an impact striker who would fit into the Conte’s plan for the next season.
Antonio Conte’s Italian influence might help Chelsea pull off the deal which is going to be an interesting one due to the lack of strikers in this year’s transfer market.
It was not long ago when Liverpool were badly trolled and humiliated socially for their apparent tapping up of Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk, but the latest developments seem to be working in favour of the Merseyside club.
An Instagram user by the name ‘philibuby’ who was earlier recognized as a close friend of VvD when he liked the Dutchman’s photoshopped image wearing a Liverpool jersey might have dropped some more hints for a possible move to the Anfield.
The friend again took to his social media accounts today and uploaded couple of pictures with the main man in a short span of time. The firs picture was deleted shortly but the second one can still be seen on Instagram.
What was even more interesting were the quotes that accompanied the pictures. Following one’s dream was the main theme and considering Van Dijk’s interest in Liverpool is not hidden, it shouldn’t take much effort to solve the missing pieces of the puzzle.
It would be one hell of a signing for the Reds after looking at their past records of failed centerbacks costing them points against the teams in the later half of the table. E
ven after all these developments it would be interesting to know how Southampton react to all these fuss created and who knows you might even see the record transfer fee for a defender.

Money rules, the new non-debatable law of modern football. Loyalty has become the least of priorities for the new generation of players, adding to this list is none other than Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur) who is almost a done deal to sign for Manchester City according to a lot of recognized publishing agencies.
This would be the 3rd signing of the season for the Manchester based side, compared to Spurs who are yet to announce a signing.
Walker had an excellent 2016-17 at White hart Lane making 33 appearances while conceding just 21 goals and with 14 clean sheets. Spurs had the least goals away(26) during the season for which he was selected in the PFA team of the year alongside this teammate, Danny Rose.
The stats just prove his importance in the squad and how his departure might leave an everlasting hole in the defense line which would be interesting to watch how Spurs cope up with next season.
If he settles well in the squad, Walker would be a great asset for the Pep Guardiola led side who have let go 3 of their full backs.
But a tweet from Englishman back in 2012, absolutely ripping the Citizens apart, has started doing the rounds lately and it’s the kind which could have a lasting impressions on the city fans. Check it out below –
Wayne Rooney is truly the ambassador of English football, he has a brand value attached to his name and Everton seem to be gaining a lot of attention after his return to Goodison park after 13 amazing years at Manchester United.
The blue side of Merseyside have always been dominated by the red side when it comes to media coverage but it seems things are changing after the kind of transfer window they are having.
As a result a Malaysian newspaper dedicated a whole page to the Toffees which is a rare site even in England. Everton fans reacted with “Welcome back brother” showing how much they love their teenage hero who earned the respect of the entire footballing world.
The fans are going insane after his stunning strike against Gor Mahia FC in a friendly only his second match after his return. The fans just couldn’t be happier right now with all the positive attention there club has been receiving lately.
