Chelsea suffered a disappointing 3-0 loss and made their way out of the Champions League after Lionel Messi struck twice to get Barcelona through to the next round last night.
N’Golo Kante’s performance over the two legs was the perhaps the only positive outcome for the Chelsea fans.
Bar Messi, the Frenchman was perhaps the best player on the pitch and dominated a midfield of Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic at Stamford Bridge as well as the Nou Camp.
Things got especially bad for Sergio Busquets it seems as the Spaniard was sent packing after a smooth move from the Chelsea dynamo.

Manchester United pulled off a brilliant 2-1 win against Liverpool at Old Trafford few hours ago.
Marcus Rashford scored both the goals for the home side as Jose Mourinho’s side moved 5 point clear of Jurgen Klopp’s Reds in the points table.
Nemanja Matic had a fantastic game at the heart of United’s midfield and took to Instagram to celebrate the win after the match.
Man United fans loved the message but also noticed a like from Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić, who is currently touted as one of the best midfielders plying the trade and heavily rumored to leave the Italian club in the summer.
Besides being the hottest CM currently, SMS is also a national teammate of Matic, hence the like most probably.
But just imagine a midfield of Matic and Sergej along with an in-from Pogba in front of them. Stuff of dreams for United fans!

Liverpool fans trolled their Manchester United counterparts by comparing Paul Pogba’s 3-goal tally this season so far with Roberto Firmino’s third no-look goal of the season on Saturday against West Ham.
Firmino has been a darling of the Liverpool fans with the Brazilian being one of the most complete forwards in the Premier League this season. His relentless pressing and the cutting edge that he displays when scoring goals has achieved him a cult status with the Liverpool faithful.
And with rumors of a new contract incoming for Firmino, one fan decided to use his photoshopping skills to display the kind of scenes the fans expect with Bobby these days.

It has been heavily rumored that the next season could be the last year of association between Arsenal and Puma as the Premier League giants are all set to have Adidas as their kit suppliers from 2019-20 season.
And it seems Puma is ready to go out with a bang as pictures of Arsenal’s training range for 2018/19 season arrived on the internet.
A reliable outlet when it comes to football kits, Footyheadlines revealed the exciting range of shirts that would be made available for the fans to purchase when the 2018/19 season starts.

Liverpool accomplished a thrilling win over league leaders Manchester City as the Reds gegenpresed Pep Guardiola’s side out of the game at Anfield yesterday.
And at the heart of their pressing, quite surprisingly, was young left-back Andrew Robertson.
The new signing unlocked cult status with the Liverpool faithful when he went on a mad pressing spree which saw him hound 4 City players during a moment in the game.
A sensational moment, made even more sensational by this Swedish commentary of Niklas Holmgren –
Sportswear giants Nike, who became Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur’s official kit supplier from this season, have gone for a rather bold and unique look for the home kit next season.
Bound to divide opinions big time, the shirt would feature a gradient design, fading towards dark blue at the bottom and would be worn along with dark blue shorts and white socks.
The shield around the logo (seen on the current kits) will also disappear, check out the leaked image of Spurs’ home kit for next season below –
Liverpool had tried hard to secure the services of Virgil van Dijk in the summer transfer window, but a hard stance from Southampton halted any progress.
But followers remain persistent to see the player at Anfield. And recently, a fan pleaded owner John W. Henry during a baseball match in Boston to sign the Dutchman in January. Liverpool fans will be hoping the words didn’t fall on deaf ears.
Liverpool’s defense has been criticised time and again and the fans’ desire to have Van Dijk seem reasonable to say the least.
Henry might be on a whole other continent but escaping ‘sign Van Dijk’ requests appears to be difficult. Check out the video below –
Sead Kolasinac fired in a sumptuous volley to equalise for Arsenal against Koln in the Europa League last night.
And while celebrating the goal, the Bosnian lifted his jersey to exhibit a Schalke tee. It seemed like a deliberate attempt to savage Koln fans, a Bundesliga rival of Schalke.
The muscular defender played for Schalke for 6 years and showed his love for his previous employers with the celebration.
Kolasinac made a name for himself during his time in Schalke and moved to Arsenal for free this summer. Check out the picture (via @JochenStutzky) of him showing off his Schalke shirt below –
Luke Ayling awed the spectators at Elland Road after pulling off a stunning goal-line clearance during the 2-0 win against Birmingham City.
Leeds, leading 1-0, were looking all set to take the lead into the dressing room at half-time. But a well constructed move by Birmingham City in extra time almost brought them level.
Maxime Colin somehow managed to head the ball past the charging Leeds keeper. But, an agile Luke Ayling showed brilliant awareness and skill to prevent the ball from crossing the line.
It was a spectacular effort by the Englishman in a crucial match for his side. Check it out below –
Gary Cahill has been at the heart of the Chelsea defense ever since his move back in 2012. While the Chelsea hierarchy love him, the centre-back has had a hard time convincing the fans.
Nevertheless, the Englishman has had a glittering career at Chelsea. He’s already won the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League on 2 occasions and the FA Cup & the League cup.
And his services were honored by his admirers when they showed up with a banner that stated ‘Cahill, he’s won it all’ during the 6-0 thrashing of Qarabag midweek.
