Not sure if it was intentional from the Brazilian, but this elastico through ball in the first half surely summed up Willian’s performance during the 4-0 win against Hull City last night.
Chelsea moved to the next rounds of the FA Cup after a convincing win on the night and Willian was at the center of everything good for the Blues with two goals to his name.
The winger was excellent, both offensively and defensively and could see himself getting a start next Tuesday as Chelsea take on European royalty Barcelona in the Champions League Round of 16 match at Stamford Bridge.

Back-to-back defeats against Bournemouth and Watford have left Chelsea feeling the pressure as Antonio Conte’s side now find themselves in the 4th spot of the points table, just one point ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in 5th.
There’s a sense of gloom around the club at the moment but the fans need not look any further than Cesar Azpilicueta’s Twitter account for inspiration as the defender posted a brilliant message after the defeat on Monday night.
The Spaniard, who is respected around the footballing community for his no-nonsense approach to the game, took to social media with a rallying cry for the dejected supporters.
The number of retweets & likes on the tweet just shows how much the Chelsea fans love the defender’s message, check out the tweet from Azpi below –
Liverpool might have failed to gather all 3 points from their game against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday but the Mo Salah juggernaut kept rolling on as the Egyptian struck two goals on the night which included a fantastic solo goal.
The summer signing from Roma has been sensational for the Reds since joining last summer and is only behind Harry Kane in the Premier League goals tally this season.
Comparisons with Lionel Messi might be a little silly but Mo Salah’s second goal against Spurs was eerily similar to some of Messi’s greatest.
A new footage, taken from the stands, has now surfaced online and shows the true genius of the Liverpool man. Check out the fan footage of the goal below –

Manager antics on the touchline have always made headlines due to their inspiring, commanding and at times, hilarious tones. As far as fun and bizarre touchline actions go, interim Rangers boss Graeme Murty’s name getting mentioned is a certainty.
In a match against Dundee United last season, Harry Forrester failed to convert a sitter from six yards out, prompting an animated reaction from the then caretaker manager Graeme Murty.
Murty closed his eyes in disbelief before reverse rolling to a headstand position. Rangers lost the game 2-1 and went on to finish third behind winners Celtic and rivals Aberdeen.
The Murty Headstand, as it is called by Rangers fans and footballing buffs around the world, has spawned numerous tributes by fans, memes and hilarious impressions.
In an amusing take on the Murty Headstand, a Twitter user uploaded an image of an upside down snowman and captioned it as ‘Murty The Snowman’.
The Gers fan seems to have taken advantage of the heavy snowfall lashing the Scottish peninsula as he created the eccentric figure in his backyard. The tweet has since gone viral and now has over a thousand likes while countless people have shared it on social media.

A Wayne Rooney spot-kick settled the terms for Everton against a much-changed Liverpool side in the Merseyside derby last night. The draw sees the Toffees maintain their position in the top half of the table and continues Sam Allardyce’s unbeaten start as manager.
Liverpool were the ones to draw first blood in the fiery clash as Mohamed Salah struck a beauty past Pickford after coolly skipping past two defenders 3 minutes before the half-time whistle.
However, a clumsy challenge from Dejan Lovren brought down Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the box on the 77th minute and Wayne Rooney converted amid ringing boos from the Anfield crowd.
Everton offered no attacking threat for large periods of the game as the manager’s defensive tactics offered cover against a possession-dominating Liverpool side.
Sam Allardyce, who is known for his defensive-minded style of play and furious touchline antics, was back at it again during his second game in charge at the club.
At one point during the game, Big Sam was spotted giving an absolute bollocking to his defenders for getting too close to the halfway line.
A rather clear warning to his players to stick to his managerial vision. And the approach worked brilliantly for the visitors as they earned an important point against a free-scoring Liverpool side.
Definitely one of the highlights of the game for Everton fans, check out Big Sam barking orders below –
Tottenham Hotspur romped to a 5-1 victory over Stoke City today to end a series of disappointing results in the league.
Harry Kane was back to his destructive ways, while Son and Eriksen found the back of the net during the second half to complete the drubbing.
Spurs were in the lead just 20 minutes into the game after Stoke captain Ryan Shawcross stuck a leg to a Heung-Min Son cross and ended up placing the shot inside his own net.
The Korean wreaked more havoc in the second half as he converted a through ball from Alli and assisted Eriksen on either side of a Harry Kane brace. The Potters bagged a consolation in the concluding minutes of the game as Shawcross headed past Lloris following a corner.
Post-game, Son and ex-Spurs defender Kevin Wimmer were spotted sharing a light moment on the pitch. The two friends seem to have held on to the bromance they developed since sharing the same dressing room at Tottenham and had a reunion after the full-time whistle.
What an adorable moment, check out the photo below –
Fresh from defying Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Chelsea slumped to a 1-0 defeat against fellow Londoners West Ham today.
Having been denied a point by a late Raheem Sterling strike last weekend, West Ham found themselves ahead within 6 minutes, thanks to some brilliant interplay between Manuel Lanzini and goalscorer Marko Arnautovic.
The Austrian striker scored his first goal for the club, slotting a brilliant curling strike to beat Thibaut Courtois. Boosted by the goal, West Ham players were seen at their flamboyant best at times, especially Arthur Masuaku, who pulled of a stunning skill move near the sidelines to keep the possession during a moment in the game.
West Ham secured their first win in 9 games, and now face Arsenal in another tough fixture next week.
