Even the Manchester United fans would admit that Romelu Lukaku is perhaps not as gracious with his first touch on the ball on many occasions but the amount of ridicule that gets dished out towards the Belgian for his first touch on the internet borders on ridiculous.

But the striker shut down the haters and broke away from the stereotype after he pulled off a brilliant first touch to take an Alexis Sanchez cross in his stride during the 2-0 win against Huddersfield Town on the weekend.

Besides the touch, Romelu Lukaku wreaked havoc on the Huddersfield defence as he scored both the goals on the night.

(Video) Mo Salah absolutely tearing it up with a filthy goal in training

Mo Salah showing no signs of stopping as the Egyptian was spotted terrorising defenders during a training session in Spain.

The Reds are currently on for a 4-day warm weather training camp in Marbella after destroying FC Porto 5-0 on Wednesday in the Champions League round of 32 clash.

Sadio Mane took all the accolades with a hat-trick but main-man Mo Salah was on target as well with a well taken 29th minute strike.

And the former Roma man showed similar form as he twisted around the defence to score a beautiful goal in training.

After going two goals down in the opening ten minutes, Tottenham Hotspur produced a magnificent fightback to draw against Juventus in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 match at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday.

Spurs were surprised by two quick goals from Gonzalo Higuain, but it only made them more lethal.

Not only did they managed to pull off a draw, Mauricio Pochettino’s side dominated the Serie A giants for the rest of the 80 minutes of the game in what could be called as a monster performance.

In light of their performance, a new graphic doing the rounds online just shows how much better Spurs were against Juventus on the night.

Classy move from Nike as the Tottenham Hospur kit sponsors released a full-page ad with a rather clever tagline after Harry Kane reached the 100 goals mark in the Premier League after his penalty against Liverpool on Sunday.

The ad was spotted on the back page of the London Evening Standard and the fans online have been quick to praise the world’s largest sportswear maker for their efforts.

Spurs rescued a point against Liverpool after Harry Kane scored from the spot 5 minutes into injury time on Sunday. And the frontman will need to be at his best again when they take on bitter rivals Arsenal in their next Premier League fixture this Saturday.

Premier League & Champions League defences beware as the world class superstar at Tottenham Hotspur is developing a bit of arrogance.

Harry Kane showed the kind of confidence he nowadays carries with himself as the forward delivered a cheeky message for the cameras after making sure Spurs went away with a point after his penalty resulted in a 2-2 draw against Liverpool.

As the Englishman was leaving the pitch after the full time whistle at Anfield, Kane turned towards the camera following him and said: “You can’t give me two tries.”

Spurs face even a tougher challenge on Sunday as they travel to Merseyside to take on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Anfield.

The in-form Manchester United winger took Piers Morgan to town when the Daily Mail columnist attempted to mock Lingard for his tweet welcoming new signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal

Morgan used the crying from laughter emoji’ saying the Englishman would be sitting on the bench because of the Chilean’s arrival.

Lingard replied by reminding Piers about his dance celebration after he scored at the Emirates during the 3-1 win in December.

Arsenal’s magnificent 1st half performance absoutely blitzed Crystal Palace away as left-back Nacho Monreal score one and assisted two before being replaced by Ainsley Maitland-Niles due to injury.

As expected, Mesut Ozil was at the center of all things good for the Gunners and the German even assisted Lacazette’s goal with a lovely back-heel pass.

The passing range from the playmaker reached its peak when chipped the ball towards Alex Iwobi in a rather incredible manner.

Iwobi got away from Tomkins and maybe could have squared it for Lacazette to tap in, but instead decided to shoot and it went straight at Palace goalkeeper Hennessey.
