Leeds hardman Pontus Jansson dropped the s-word live on television and didn’t even apologise for it after the 1-1 draw against Brentford earlier today.
The resultant penalty after a blatant dive from Ollie Watkins gave Brentford the lead but Leeds managed to pull one back late in the game after Pontus Jansson headed the ball in from a free-kick.
It was deserved goal for the Swede who was man of the match by a country mile and also provided one of the most real interviews ever.
No holding back from Pontus here, check out the post-match interview below –
Things have been hard for Manchester United lately with the dressing room looking divided and the results on the pitch not helping the matters as well.
The tension between Jose Mourinho and star man Paul Pogba reached an all time high when the duo were caught on camera having a spat in the training ground few days ago.
Social media had a field day and it seems fellow football clubs are also not in a forgiving mood as the official Stoke City Twitter account dismissed the comparisons with the Red Devils rather brutally on the famous microblogging platform earlier today.
Being bantered off by a Championship side, it seems Man United have officially reached rock bottom. Check out the tweet from Stoke City below –
Being labeled as perhaps the ‘best defender in the world currently’, there is no doubt that Virgil van Dijk is having the time of his life while leading the Liverpool defence this season so far.
The defender also stole the limelight yesterday with his little dance as the Liverpool squad prepared for their crunch clash against Napoli.
Spirits were high in Liverpool training ahead of the game against Napoli as the squad led by Jurgen Klopp, stood at the side of the Stadio San Paolo pitch and clapped together while chanting German birthday songs for Firmino and Alisson.
Check out the video of Van Dijk letting out a little dance in training below –
The deadlock is broken at the KCOM Stadium as youngster Tyler Roberts put Leeds United 1-0 up against Hull City with a fantastically taken strike from the outside of the box.
6 minutes into the second half and the away side finally got a goal to show for all their dominance in the game so far.
The 19-year-old has certainly done a tremendous job so far for Marcelo Bielsa, stepping in for the injured Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford.
Take a bow son! Check out the goal from Roberts below –
Manchester United have perhaps broken the nicest man in football.
A terrible run of results and the ongoing feud between Jose Mourinho & Paul Pogba has really dampened the mood in the Man United camp it seems as winger Juan Mata took to internet to reveal that there wasn’t going to be a proper post this week.
The Spaniard ending his blog without the customary ‘hugs’ is the clearest indication yet that the Red Devils are in a full-blown crisis.
Check out the screenshot of Mata’s blog post below –
Gini Wijnaldum took to Instagram to reveal the Liverpool squad photo for 2018/19 season with an epic tagline yesterday.
The Dutchman, who has been one of the top performers in a very good Liverpool side this season, wrote “One team. One goal #weareliverpool” while posting the squad photo.
The tough run of fixtures continues for Liverpool as they take on Serie A outfit Napoli in the UEFA Champions League group stage match at the Stadio San Paolo this Wednesday.
Would definitely going to be a testing fixture, but nothing that this group can’t handle. Check out the squad photo below –
Such is the aura of Eden Hazard that even opposition players can’t help themselves but admire the brilliance of the little Belgian on the field.
A photographer caught something similar during Chelsea’s clash v Huddersfield Town on the weekend as one of David Wagner’s men was snapped being in total awe of the Chelsea star.
Right-back Florent Hadergjonaj looked thoroughly impressed as Eden Hazard provided the assist for Pedro for the 3rd Chelsea goal at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.
Completely understandable but the Swiss might want to hold back his emotions a little on the pitch so as not to disappoint his own fans. Check out the funny picture below –
Everton fans can now rejoice as it seems the announcement of Lucas Digne is a mere formality now after the Catalan club dropped a massive hint before their International Champions Cup game against AS Roma last night.
It is not yet official but rumors online suggest Digne has already said his goodbyes to his Barcelona teammates and this bit spotted in the official teamsheet before their friendly against Roma further strengthened the notion that the Frenchman is soon to become Marco Silva’s latest signing.
Digne’s name was crossed out from the lineup with Everton written next to it, check out an image of the teamsheet below –
The World Cup of screamers continued on Thursday after Spurs talisman Christian Eriksen put Denmark ahead with the help of an absolute banger in the 7th minute in the Cosmos Arena, Samara.
It was a beautiful strike from Eriksen after Jorgensen produced a brilliant touch from a ball over the top and set up the Spurs man to volley the ball home, using the outside of his boot.
Spurs fans would be wishing chairman Daniel Levy pays the man what he wants – check out the goal from Eriksen below:
What an absolutely fantastic start to life on Twitter by James Milner!
Things got excited for Liverpool fans on Twitter on Thursday evening as they were treated to an unexpected news of James Milner revealing in his new account on the micro-blogging site.
And the midfielder, who is coming on to his own this season, blew the doors off Twitter by putting up a #TBT from ‘yesterday’ of him ironing a shirt.
Perhaps the world’s most self-aware troll or the literally the most boring person. Check out the tweet below –
