Let’s admit it, we have all done some pretty stupid things while drunk and while most of the time people end up regretting their booze inspired antics, this Celtic fan hit certainly the jackpot during one such hazy night.
After drunk messaging Hoops star Kieran Tierney for permission to use his face on his bank card, the fan was in for a shock when the young left-back actually gave his consent for the insane request .
And now the fan is set to be a mini-celebrity among Celtic fans after pulling off the stunt and even posted a photo of his conversation with Kieran on social media after he got the card.
With many football stars around the world often being reluctant to pass over their image rights, the young Scot will surely be adored even more at Celtic Park now after being such a sport to the weird request.
Definitely a brag-worthy stunt this! Check out a photo of the fan’s conversation with KT below:
My Celtic claim to fame – I once drunk messaged KT asking for permission to put him on my bank card. Had to show the written permission 3 separate times while switching bank… HH from r/CelticFC
New Boss Marco Silva once again showed his resourcefulness in the transfer window with the astute £18 million signing of Lucas Digne from Barcelona.
The 25-year-old will definitely strengthen a position in desperate need of additional depth and quality with veteran Leighton Baines often overworked in previous seasons.
While the Frenchman will be hoping to forge a close relationship with the Blues support in the months to come, it looks like his better half is already one step ahead of him on that matter and could already become a fan-favorite after her latest Instagram post.
Tiziri Digne took to Instagram to share the news of her hubby’s transfer to the Toffees and with the stunning model’s post featuring lots of blue, she could be a big hit with supporters with more posts like these.

Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani’s popularity amongst fans took a bit of a hit after Leeds failed to capitalize on a strong start last year with many feeling the club’s poor transfer strategy played a major part in their shambolic finish to the campaign.
But all that distrust seems to have toned down now after a pretty decent summer for the Whites as they managed to recruit veteran coach Marcelo Bielsa and a some decent reinforcements.
And after Sunday’s thrashing of the Potters, the Italian managed to make another strong impression on the fans as he was spotted embracing literally every member of the squad following the full-time whistle, impressing fans with his dedication towards the club.
Now that’s how to treat your players after a good showing! Check out a clip of Radrizzani’s show of love below:
It was Toffees CEO Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale who cut the ribbon to mark the official inauguration into their new headquarters in the seventh floor of the Royal Liver Building at the end of July.
After the ceremony she told reporters that the club hoped to retain the ‘Everton essence’ in the office and recent pictures seen online indicate that she wasn’t lying.
Photos seen on Twitter showcase a terrifically designed open office with some world class decor prominently featuring club colors and even subtly pays tribute to some of Goodison Park’s famous architecture.
Overlooking their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and placed in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district, the world class office should definitely help the club to realize their commercial ambitions.

Liverpool fans were in a jolly good mood after a strong summer window and a good pre-season – well that’s before this fan absolutely managed to freak them out with a series of crazy face-swaps.
In his own words, the Liverpool fan “remixed” the Reds’ senior keepers on Twitter before following the ridiculous post up in the comment section with more face-swaps, involving literally the entire squad.
He didn’t even leave out Jurgen Klopp from his fun, coming up with quite a scary looking mashup of the German manager with Lallana and Salah.
While some fans were able to laugh off the crazy bit of editing, others seemed clearly uneasy after witnessing the bizarre photos.
Not everyone’s cup of tea this! – Check out the spectacularly done face-swaps below:
The £3 million Leeds paid to Wolves for Barry Douglas already looks repaid after the left-back whipped in a belter of a corner which Cooper coolly headed home during the 3-1 riot over Stoke City on Sunday.
The 28-year-old was handpicked by Marcelo Bielsa to work as an attacking outlet from the back and has definitely hit the ground running with a solid display at Elland Road.
While players and fans may sometimes get carried away after an emphatic result such as Sunday’s drubbing of the Potters, it looks like there’s no danger of that happening with Douglas.
The Scottish international took to Twitter earlier today, thanking the home crowd for the cracking atmosphere on his debut before keeping things in perspective by warning United not to get carried away this early in the campaign.
Looks like a proper bloke eh! Check out his tweet below:
Marcelo Bielsa has always maintained that he likes to dominate his opposition and that’s exactly what his Leeds team did to Stoke City in the Whites’ first competitive fixture under his tutelage.
While the supporters at Elland Road were buzzing with the football on display, fans tuned in to the BBC live text were in for a different kind of treat.
The editor-in-charge of the live text looked to be in the form of her life as she brutally summed up Leeds’ pressing of the Potters by savagely trolling ex-Red Joe Allen.
Leeds fans definitely had a good laugh when they read the line on the BBC feed and have flocked to Twitter to show their appreciation for the editor’s wit.
Don’t expect to see Joe Allen take a stroll outside his home anytime soon after this! Check out the belter of a line for yourself below:
DeAndre Yedlin took it upon himself to give the Toon fans something to cheer about during an otherwise drab encounter against German club Augsburg in their final pre-season friendly.
The American absolutely tore through the pitch in a lung-busting 8-second sprint from one box to another and made quite an impression on supporters with videos of his run going viral on social media following the 1-0 loss.
And now it seems the clips have found their way to the defender’s Twitter feed as well with Yedlin responding to a fan’s post by commenting how he was completely out of gas for the rest of the game after the run.
Fans on Twitter seemed to love the passion on display by Yedlin and will be hoping that some of his intensity brushes off on his teammates when they meet his former employers Tottenham in their Premier League opener five days from now.
Check out Yedlin’s tweet below –
Following last winter’s £75 million splurge on Virgil Van Dijk, Liverpool continued to spend big in defense after thrashing out a deal with Roma last month to make Alisson Becker the world’s most expensive keeper.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for a chance to catch Alisson on the pitch and the Brazilian did not disappoint.
In his first outing for the Reds, the new goalkeeper made a solid save to keep out Insigne in the 26th minute and also came up with an insane 60-yard pass in the build up to Milner’s goal.
Already billed as one of the best passers of the ball when it comes to goalkeepers, the 25-year-old definitely made an impression on Virgil Van Dijk with his pass to Salah.
The former Saints man had his arms up in the air as soon as the Brazilian made the pass and immediately turned back to applaud Alisson in goal as Milner put the ball in the back of the net.

It’s pretty safe to say Celtic and Rangers fans rarely see eye to eye on anything ranging from football to religion with their bitter rivalry well documented in the history books.
But sometimes fans get a wee bit too excited and try to take matters into their own hands which have resulted in some ugly incidents over the years.
A Celtic fan is the latest addition to that list as he quite needlessly tried to provoke Rangers legend Nacho Novo by singing a horrific chant at the Spaniard as he was making his way out of Belfast International Airport on Saturday evening.
While Nacho was able to laugh off the early exchanges with the Celtic fan, the former Rangers man ended up squaring up with the fan as things went a little too far.
