Pic: Absolutely fantastic photo of Harry Kane celebrating his goal with Heung-Min Son during Stoke rout

Tottenham looked to have put their recent bad form behind them after a 5-1 thrashing of the Potters at Wembley on Saturday.

Spurs went ahead after Ryan Shawcross’ own goal in the first half but the floodgates opened in the second half with goals from Eriksen, Son and a Harry Kane brace.

Harry Kane was splendid throughout the game after initially missing a pretty easy chance on a break and made amends with a second half double.

Fans had several reasons to be happy following the result and were especially excited about the understanding brewing between Son and Kane with the pair combining beautifully for Kane’s second goal.

A photographer managed to catch the emotion of the brilliant goal with a pretty awesome picture showing the teammates celebrating like a bunch of school kids.

The photo has grabbed the attention of the Spurs fans online, who would be hoping the pair can take their partnership to even more dangerous levels when Spurs take on Brighton next week.

(Video) New boy Pawel Cibicki pinged in a stunning assist during Leeds’ 3-1 win over QPR

Kemar Roofe scored a second half hat-trick to give Leeds United a 3-1 victory against QPR as the Whites reached the 7th spot in the Championship table.

The 24-year-old striker was absolutely clinical on the day and put on a textbook performance with his good finishing and smart movement.

With the former League Two Player of the Year grabbing all the headlines, the efforts of his teammates, especially the assist providers in Ezgjan Alioski and Pawel Cibicki, might have gone unnoticed.

New signing Cibicki showed his vision as he delivered an inch perfect cross for Roofe to give Leeds a two-goal cushion.

All in all it was good showing from Leeds who did well to hold off a brewing QPR comeback away from home and fans will be hoping for a similar run of form during the festive run to propel them even higher into the table.

(Video) Fantastic Mohamed Salah chant from Liverpool fans at the Brighton concourse

Following his move from Roma to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, Mo Salah already looks a bargain for the 37 million quids it took to bring him back to England.

Liverpool fans have pretty much fallen in love with the fleet-footed winger after his showings in the league with the former Chelsea player leading the goalscoring charts with his 12 goals.

The fans have now come up with a new genius chant to show their love for the Egyptian, as heard during the Brighton game.

With the Merseyside derby coming up this weekend, expect the chant to be heard loudly among the Liverpool faithful at Anfield.

While the emphatic display from the players got the traveling Liverpool fans bouncing at the Falmer Stadium, a photo of stars Roberto Firminio and Jordan Henderson doing rounds on social media got the fans even more excited.

(Video) 36-second clip of Harry Kane spraying an array of stunning passes during Tottenham v Watford

Watford managed to frustrate another top six side at home and added to their impressive start to the season with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham at Vicarage road yesterday.

Not the most inspiring performance from Tottenham players except, maybe, Harry Kane. The England striker showed his influence on the team as he tried to turn the match around almost single-handedly.

The striker who is know for his goal-scoring prowess, showed his creative side on the evening, coming up with some really impressive passing to find his teammates time and time again.

Kane went on to make a flurry of passes and was unlucky not to get an assist on the board as his team just couldn’t get the telling touches on any of his balls.

Take a look at the 36-second clip of Harry Kane showing his crossing and hold-up abilities below –

(Video) Philippe Coutinho going through the Brighton players like knife through butter during Liverpool win

Liverpool reminded everyone that they shouldn’t be written off from the title race just yet with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Brighton.

Brighton did not deserve the humiliating result as the hosts started the game brightly, but were blown away by the masterclass on display from superstar Brazilian duo Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.

Coutinho in particular was playing at the top of his game, scoring a brilliant low free-kick and breaking ankles at will throughout the game.

One such run particularly highlighted the Brazilian’s display on the night after he went through the opposition like they weren’t even there and would have probably ventured further but was brought down by a retreating Brighton defence.

The class was just oozing out of Coutinho throughout the game and the performance only enhances his reputation as one of Premier League’s best player.

(Video) Leeds fans will love the way Liverpool legend Phil Thompson thinks about Elland Road

Both Liverpool and Leeds United have bigger rivals, but on account of being one of the most historic clubs around, there has always been some friction between the two.

In the mid-to-late 1960s, Liverpool and Leeds began a rise which would eventually see both clubs reach their peaks with Leeds being the dominant force in England under the tutelage of Don Reeve.

Elland road was absolutely rocking in the good old glory days and apparently even Liverpool players were left in awe of the atmosphere at the iconic stadium.

Former Reds defender Phil Thompson had only good things to say about the famous stadium during his bit for Sky Sports on Friday.

The legend was seen absolutely beaming talking about Elland road and even went on to name the stadium as the best he’s played at ahead of Old Trafford and Goodison Park.

One particular rendition of ‘every Saturday we follow’ managed to really spice up the atmosphere at Ibrox.

(Video) Roberto Firmino commended by Liverpool fans for this selfless act during Stoke win

Staying true to cliche, it was another cold and windy night at Stoke but Liverpool did not let the conditions get in their way and struck three goals past the Potters away from home.

An early first-half goal from Sadio Mane and a quick brace from man of the moment Mo Salah after the break gave the reds all three points.

While Salah took all the plaudits again with his quick fire double, Liverpool fans were also impressed by the chivalry on display from Robert Firmino .

When Mane’s shot was partly blocked by Lee Grant and was bobbling towards goal, the Brazilian was perfectly placed to poke it in but decided against nabbing his teammate’s goal, staying put as the ball rolled in.

What makes the attacker’s gesture even more commendable is the fact that the goal could have helped in trigger a goal bonus written in his contract.

In a world of money crazed footballers, the Liverpool mans thoughtfulness was rightly lauded by fans all across Twitter.
