Liverpool has a massive following all around the world and with their resurgence in the league and Champions League you can expect them to challenge the likes of other popular clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid in terms of appeal overseas.
With the addition of African superstars in Mo Salah, Naby Keita and Sadio Mane, Liverpool have attracted massive African fan following over the last few years.
The addition of Dutch captain Virgil van Dijk along with Gini Wijnaldum took them closer to Dutch hearts but the latest bit of fan frenzy is likely to be as a result of their local boy, Joe Gomez.
One Liverpool fan managed to unearth a photograph from Gomez’s early days where he can be seen posing next to Hollywood heartthrob Timothée Chalamet.
The Beautiful Boy who has been a sensation amongst the ladies for quite a while now, has admitted that he wanted to be a professional football player, but was never talented enough for it.
With this rather old photograph resurfacing, there’s a decent chance of a few female fans being attracted to Liverpool via Timothée.

Tottenham’s season looks to be in some trouble as they see Harry Kane and Moussa Sissko face a long spell out injured. The injury crisis comes at an already tough period where the London club are without Lucas Moura and could lose Heung-min Son for almost 5 games due to the Asian Cup.
Spurs have seen injuries to almost all their top players this season with Eriksen, Alli, Vertonghen and Alderweireld having spent time in the physio’s room.
However, Mauricio Pochettino has managed his troops well so far as they had one of their best starts to a Premier League season and still compete in all four competitions. The biggest news for Spurs this season was going to be their new stadium which was initially stated to open earlier this season.
The new White Hart Lane, as the reports suggest, will not be completely ready until the start of next season. But the images and graphics that have released so far, have got the fans excited for an extravagant home next season.
The latest pictures taken of the stadium have a futuristic feel to it. With the exterior LED lighting, the new WHL truly looks like a cyberpunk masterpiece. The grey exteriors with the purple glow has the got the fans going crazy to be a part of the world class matchday experience as boasted by the club.
Daniel Levy has frustrated some of the Spurs faithful by using his finances in the stadium over the transfer window but even in an injury crisis like this, a lot of the fans are optimistic and excited for what the future holds in their new home.

The race for the Premier League title heats up as Manchester City close down on Liverpool, reducing the gap to 4 points with their win against Wolves last night.
City scored 3 with Gabriel Jesus bagging a brace against 10 men Wolves after Willy Boly saw a red card for a heavy challenge on Bernardo Silva.
After Spurs’ loss to United at the weekend, one might concede that it may boil down to a two horse race between City and Liverpool. The Merseyside giants have shown no respite in the league, having lost only one, against the defending champions. Manchester City also look like they have overcome their December drop, having scored 19 goals in 3 games, in all competitions.
Liverpool have made their the best ever start to a season and they go up against a record breaking City side. The intense competition at the top has left football experts and former players, at a split decision.
The latest asked to give his opinion on the race for the title was Manchester City legend Yaya Toure.
A special guest on Monday Night Football, the Ivorian was at loss of words when asked about City’s chances at retaining their title.
He conceded that he has been impressed with Liverpool, who have looked scary and will be very tough to beat over the remaining set of fixtures.

Liverpool enjoy an easier set of fixtures as they face Palace and Leicester at Anfield up next, while City face a few trips away from home with their Cup fixtures crammed in between.
As the season inches towards the showdown period, the consistent performances from the top 2 makes up for a title race the league has been missing for a while.
Leeds United bounced back from a disappointing run of defeats to win against Derby County last week. The 2 nil win against Frank Lampard’s side saw Leeds move 4 clear at the top.
The Friday night fixture was preceded by an unusual controversy. The controversy conveniently coined as “spygate” by the media had Derby County accusing their opponents on the night of spying by sending people to watch over their training sessions. This accusation was later accepted by Bielsa who took all the blame for the incident.
The Leeds manager was flooded with questions regarding the controversy in his post match conference and he took his time to clear out the situation.
Where the club saw themselves apologising to Derby and risk facing a punishment from the FA, the Leeds fans and former players, saw the funny side to the incident.
Former Leeds striker, Michael Bridges shared a picture of himself peeping through some plants, claiming to have enjoyed his first day as a scout.

Liverpool were back to winning ways as they beat Brighton & Hove Albion with the help of a Mo Salah penalty to stretch their lead to 7 points at the top of the table.
After losing back-to-back games against Manchester City and Wolves, Liverpool put on a sturdy display to see out the victory on Saturday.
With injuries piling on at the back during the Christmas period, the extra responsibility has fallen on the shoulders of the forwards. The deadly attack hasn’t dazzled like last season but they look like they’ve gotten back their groove over the last month with Salah and Firmino both netting a hat-trick each.
The Brazilian sensation has been mostly deployed as a false 9 this season, playing behind Salah and he has stuck to his task well, earning the repeated admiration of the Kopites.
The hardworking Brazilian, loved for his trackbacks and recoveries, continues to grow into the hearts of Liverpool fans and the latest rendition of the Bobby Firmino song performed by the travelling fans was just another testament for the same.
The electric atmosphere was enough to give goosebumps to anyone watching as the fans continue to sing their way to hopefully their first league title in 29 years.
Having been eliminated from the domestic cups, Liverpool fans will be hoping to see more of Firmino’s excellent performances in the league and Champions League and to sing his song many more times in the coming few months.

Manchester United continued their resurgence after they beat Tottenham Hotspur last night at Wembley to go level on points with Arsenal. Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s appointment has boosted the squad and reinvigorated the fans.
A sixth consecutive win on the bounce for United came at the back of a man of the match display from David de Gea. A fine defensive display from Manchester United in addition to the keeper’s heroics helped them keep out an in form Spurs attack led by Harry Kane.
Manchester United look like a side reborn under the interim manager and a few players have shown drastic improvement over the last month.
Very few have given consistent performances since the beginning of the season and Victor Lindelof falls under that category for Red Devils.
The Swedish international had a tough time finding his feet in the Premier League initially but he did catch up eventually and has shown glimpses of quality at the back.
His style has often been compared to the legendary defender Nemanja Vidic. One of the moments where the Swede stopped a potential counter attack with a perfect slide tackle, was received with much admiration amongst the United fans who were quick to point out the uncanny resemblance with the Serbian.
The sumptuous tackle on Winks midway through the second half wasn’t the highlight of the game but surely was one of the likeable moments for the United faithful.
Manchester United now face Brighton before heading to Arsenal for an FA Cup showdown and the fans will expect the run of victories to continue for as long as it can.

It has been a good season for Tottenham Hotspur so far as they are the only team alongside Manchester City, who still compete for all 4 trophies up for grabs. Only 6 points off Liverpool in the league, Spurs have enjoyed one of their best starts ever so far.
Their good run of form comes despite a few injuries along the way and they have seen their share of young players breakthrough and take the responsibility. Juan Foyth made his league debut at the back of an injury crisis for Alderweireld & Vertonghen and stepped up to the task well. The 20-year-old Argentine scored the winner against Crystal Palace after being responsible for conceding penalties in his debut.
An already memorable season got even better for the Argentine as he proposed to his girlfriend on Wednesday. His Instagram post had best wishes showering from fans and his fellow teammates, and one comment particularly stood out.
Erik Lamela congratulated his fellow Argentinian by asking for an invite to the wedding in a rather hilarious manner and the comment was loved by the fans.
Foyth surely knows who tops the priority list for the wedding invites now. Check out Lamela’s comment below –
It was yet another frustrating evening for Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool faced a second consecutive defeat in the space of 4 days.
Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat at Wolves meant that their run in the FA Cup ended as soon as it began and to add to their woes, they lost yet another centre-back to injury as Dejan Lovren pulled his hamstring within the first 10 minutes of kick off.
Klopp fielded a weaker side, resting his big guns and saw his team fall further behind due to the injury.
However, there was one very bright silver lining for Klopp as the game saw the debut of Ki-Jana Hoever, who at 16 years old, became the club’s youngest player ever to play in the FA Cup.
Bought in from Ajax’s academy, Hoever had a good outing against a full strength Wolves and had one of the moments of the game where he won back the ball in his own box to set up a counter attack.
After being nearly beaten by Helder Costa, Hoever recovered to win back the possession and went on a run to beat 2 men before sliding the ball through to Shaqiri and set up a counter attack.

As opposed to the current Umbro kit which is mostly all blue (except the collar), the concept home kit features white stripes on the arms, a common feature amongst Adidas kits.

The designs are receiving positive reviews from the Everton faithful online. Via @_luke_efc_2, check out the images below –
Newcastle United supporters continue their protests against their owner Mike Ashley as he fails to provide Rafa Benitez with any sort of financial backing.
The British entrepreneur has been urged repeatedly by the Newcastle faithful to either sell the club or provide funds to Benitez, who has managed to do well given the lack of funds.
The former Liverpool manager took up the Newcastle job when they were set for relegation in 2015-16 and has stuck through to see them win their promotion right back after the drop. However, the money being spent in the league by the bottom clubs makes it a job harder than what the Spaniard would’ve hoped.
The Magpies have upped their efforts to bring a change at the very top. Even the pubs in Newcastle have joined in the protests to see their owner out, as can be seen with this poster of Ashley in a urinal.
After having been duped by the owner once already, who came out and confessed he was very close to selling the club, the fans would hope he does make a decision soon and the club doesn’t end up facing heavy consequences.
