Erik Lamela sliding in between a Newport player’s legs from behind to win the ball back
In one of the highlights of the game on Wednesday, Erik Lamela showed his genius as he crawled through a Newport County player’s legs from behind to regain possession for his side.
Lamela had a cracking game during the 2-0 win against League Two outfit Newport County in the FA Cup game midweek and the clip below just highlights the kind of brilliance he provides to this Mauricio Pochettino side.
Spurs fans would be hoping for another solid performance if the Argentine gets on the field against Arsenal tomorrow.

It seems not just the Liverpool fans but even the opposition players are in awe of Mohamed Salah this season.
Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin knows about the winger’s brilliance first-hand and labeled Salah as the ‘signing of the season, without a doubt’ during a meeting with Guardian journo Joel Rabinowitz.
The Egyptian has taken the Premier League by storm this time around after suffering a difficult period in England with Chelsea few years ago.
The former Roma man has now scored 21 goals in 25 Premier League matches for Liverpool, 2 matches quicker than both Fernando Torres & Daniel Sturridge

Manchester United traveled to Goodison Park to face Everton in what was their first game of 2018 and the Red Devils started the new year with a bang with a comfortable 2-0 winner against the Toffees.
Everton looked in control but United completely blew them away in the second half with stunning goals from Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.
Paul Pogba was instrumental on the day and provided the assists for both the goals but it could have been a different story had Marcos Rojo not pulled off this brilliant recovery tackle on Niasse to prevent a threatening Everton attack.
The Argentine has been a mainstay at United under Jose Mourinho and showed once again why he is regarded so highly by the staff and the fans alike.

Philippe Coutinho is heavily expected to leave Liverpool next season with everyone aware about the Brazilian’s transfer request before the start of the current campaign.
But a gesture from him after Liverpool’s win over Bournemouth showed that he is the ultimate professional.
It wasn’t an extravagant gesture but it clearly showed that Phil still cares for Liverpool fans. He went out of his way to give his jersey to a young fan making the kid’s Christmas a whole lot better.
The gesture showed that when the midfielder is on the pitch, he is still all about the Liverpool life. No one knows whether Coutinho will be calling Anfield home in the next season, but it seems he will certainly do everything to bring a smile on the faces of fans as he long as he wears the red of LFC.

As Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain walked back after celebrating Mo Salah’s goal against Bournemouth, cameras caught a little shake of the head from him.
Salah had just danced past multiple defenders to slot home his 20th goal of the season for Liverpool, becoming the first player to do so for a Premier League team this season.
Ox’s reaction paints a feeling of both disbelief and familiarity. Disbelief at the incredible rate that Salah is scoring at and familiarity simply due to the number of times that Mo has scored.
The midfielder’s reaction brilliantly portrays how annoyingly lethal Mo Salah has been for Liverpool this season so far.

Liverpool new signing Mohamed Salah is fast becoming a goalkeeper’s worst nightmare. Give him the ball near the net with just a little bit of space and he will get you a goal.
The net is his territory. When he is around the net with the ball at his feet, one would be hard pressed to find a goalkeeper who could stop him from scoring.
A picture that surfaced online after Reds’ thrashing of Bournemouth yesterday perfectly captures the essence of season the Egyptian is having so far.
The keeper is nowhere to be seen and Mo reigns alone. What is supposed to be the opposition’s den, has become Salah’s instead.
He has truly become a perfect predator in every sense, eliminating all prey that dares to stand in his way.

Rangers centre-back Fabio Cardoso has found himself in the middle of a controversy after a video emerged on Twitter with the new signing caught on camera saying “mon the Celtic”.
Cardoso later responded to the video by claiming that it was fake. It’s certainly plausible given that doctored videos have become common.
People would have even believed Cardoso had he not deleted the tweet some time later.
It certainly does raise suspicion and Cardoso may need to brace himself for some awkward moments, both with the team and fans, when he returns from injury.
