Former City player Jordan Sancho was spotted rustling Manchester City fans on Twitter as the youngster showed his appreciation for Marcus Rashford after Man United’s 2-0 win against Benfica in the Champions League.
The 17-year-old forward, who now plies his trade in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund, left Manchester City due to a dispute over assurances of playing time.
City fans were clearly not happy with such an act from a former youth player and it showed in the replies as there were a lot of ‘snake‘ references from the Citizens online.
As Manchester United geared up for their opening game of the season against West Ham United, they had a surprising visitor as Russian beauty Victoria Lopyreva showed up in the dressing room before the match.
A former Miss Russia, Victoria is a Manchester United supporter and also a close companion of United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Donning the new home kit, Victoria posed for the shutterbugs and her unexpected appearance before the game definitely added to the hype amongst the Mancunians, who were delighted to see a celebrity ahead of the EPL curtain raiser against the Hammers.
Chelsea outcast Kenedy has been heavily rumored to be on his way to Newcastle United, but according to BBC, the deal is already done as they showed his name under the summer signings list.
The 21-year old fell out of favor with Chelsea when he was found guilty of posting offensive posts about China during their pre-season tour. The social media activity reportedly irked the Chinese fans, who also booed him off the pitch in a game.
The Brazilian was sent home soon after the game, and ever since, a loan move to newly promoted Newcastle United has been making the rounds.
Although nothing is confirmed just yet, BBC appears to have a suffered a massive gaffe by already declaring him as a loanee at the club during the talk show Football Focus.
Whilst it has led to divided opinions all around, the Newcastle faithful appear confident about landing the Brazilian.

As Manchester United gear up for the season opener against West Ham United, a picture that surfaced online has caused distraction among the anxiously waiting fans, merely for the dubious nature of it.
United teen Timothy Fosu-Mensah recently completed a move to Crystal Palace, but what grabbed more attention than the transfer was a picture of him giving money to a random cleaner.
Though the player couldn’t be seen in the pic, he is seen handing over a few bucks to an unknown janitor.
The picture has caught everyone on a hop, triggering an array of assumptions and interpretations. Maybe an act of kindness, but everyone has been questioning the need to film the act and post it on social media.
Danny Rose made the headlines for all the wrong reasons recently when he viciously spoke against Tottenham Hotspur’s inactivity in the transfer market and also insinuated a possible departure.
Regardless, manager Mauricio Pochettino was considerate in his words and seemed unperturbed by the controversy during his presser before the season opener against Newcastle on Sunday.
The gaffer was asked about Rose’s situation at the club following the acrimonious revelations, and the way he responded to it was simply commendable and deserves admiration.
Refraining from criticising the player, Pochettino suggested that it’s important to move on from the situation and also highlighted the importance of communication within the team.
Danny Rose has himself cast a huge doubt over his future at the club, but the support and compassion shown by his manager has earned him the respect from the fans who are proud to have him as their head-coach.
When faced with questions about Rose’s commitments to the club, Pochettino was witty enough to refer to the contract extension he signed last year, indicating Rose staying put in North London.
The discerning and canny way that the former Southampton manager handled the situation is what very few would’ve done in his place. And that’s exactly why the fans are in an awe of him right now!
It has been some time now since he was sacked by Liverpool, but Brendan Rodgers continues to have a sense of warmth towards his old club.
The Scot was recently questioned about Philippe Coutinho’s future with Liverpool, the player he bought for a meagre sum of £8.5 million from Inter Milan back in 2013 and who is now a primary target of FC Barcelona.
And Rodgers was considerate in his thoughts and believes he will stay put at the Kop. The former Reds boss said the ball is still in Liverpool’s court, and Coutinho would make the right choice by continuing to pledge his allegiance to the Merseyside club.
The diminutive Brazilian is targeted to replace Neymar, who left for a world record fee to Paris St. Germain and is seen as the ideal man to fill the void.
As expected Rodgers’ comments have gone down well with the fans, check out the video below –
The Real Madrid-Manchester United UEFA Super Cup clash was a feisty one. Although no fights and fisticuffs, it did witness its fare share of tumult. Especially when United midfielder Marouane Fellaini injured himself during an aerial battle with Sergio Ramos.
Nothing deliberate there, but Fellaini leapt over the Los Blancos centre-back, only for the latter to bang his head against Fellaini’s face whilst attempting to head the ball away.
Such was the momentum that the Belgian landed awkwardly to the ground, indicating an injury.
That moment in the game triggered a vehement response from his teammate Ander Herrera, who was visibly aggrieved by what happened.
The Spanish international, seated on the bench at the time, was quickly on his feet whereas the expression he wore reeked of concern.
This act of compassion by Herrera seemed to have gone down well with the fans as it indicates the 27-year old is a true Red Devil!
