Alvaro Morata’s long speculated future is finally set to be destined as Chelsea are on the brink of signing the Real Madrid star on whooping £70 million deal. Morata is set to replace the now outcast Diego Costa, who is on his way back to Atletico Madrid. But his arrival isn’t the only cause of excitement to the fans.
Every club followers brag about their rich history, trophies, star power… and WAGs. Yes, even the partners of the footballers add to the glamour of the club as they too become a part of it. So with Morata, comes his bae Alice Campello, with whom he tied the know recently in Italy.
The former Juventus hitman made his relationship public last year when Morata was plying his trade with the Old Lady and walked down the aisle this summer when the star was on a vacation. Campello was pictured bikini-clad when the duo were on a vacation, and the Blues faithfuls are stirred to have her on their WAGs wagon.
A fashion designer by profession, the stunning Italian beauty instantly becomes a new candidate for the hottest WAGs of the Premier League, which means Chelsea now have five different fronts to compete in next season.

Manchester United and Manchester City share a hostile crosstown rivalry` just like any other neighboring clubs. Specially the ones in recent times as the advent of new ownership has made City capable enough to hold a candle to their more glamorous rivals. However a recent stats suggest United’s fan following being infinitely bigger and better than their counterparts in blue.
One of the images below highlights the clubs’ Google searches across the globe. And suffice to say, the Red Devils are light years ahead of City. Only in Chile, Brazil, Guatemala, Romania and the city of Monaco, are the people more interested in knowing about the blue half of Manchester. The rest of the globe familiarise with United instead.
The map speaks volumes about the popularity of Manchester United and their monumental fan base. Manchester City may boast staunch financial might, but it seems highly unlikely for them to ever assemble a fan following that United currently have.
Another comparison chart shows two pie carts depicting the number of followers of each clubs on various social media sites. Here too, the gap is way too much. United’s followers on the social media goes well beyond 100 million, whereas that of City is barely one third of it.
The images don’t just reflect on the vast difference in the popularity count between the sides, but also show how big a club United are.

When Arsenal were pulling up their socks to face the might of old nemesis Bayern Munich, a fan, supposedly a native Chinese, turned for the game in an avatar that has triggered a round of guffaws from the fans.
As the image suggests, the fan turned up for the game in a Petr Cech outfit. However, not the Arsenal one, but in fact, Chelsea’s. Now whether the fan is so ignorant that he doesn’t know of Cech’s current suitors, or doesn’t own an Arsenal kit of him is up for debate.
However you look at it, a debate or a meme, this boy has surely served up a treat with his outfit. Whilst a fellow native posing right next to him dons an Arsenal shirt making his allegiance quite clear, the boy in question has thrown up a silly prattles. Or rather, caused one.
Arsenal drew 1-1 against the German champions in full time, although emerged 3-2 triumphant in the penalty shoot-outs as a measure of salvation. Cech though, wasn’t the hero here as he was subbed off in the 72nd minute itself.
The game may have been a cagey affair, but this Chinese supporter has managed to cast everyone’s mind off the game.

Manchester United made it two out of two in the 2017/18 pre-season tour in U.S as the reigning Europa League champions edged out Real Salt Lake in a narrow 2-1 victory. The game marked Romelu Lukaku’s first goal for his new club, which was also a talking point post the match.
So was Jesse Lingard’s backfoot flick.
Though the Belgian robbed all the limelight with his maiden strike, Lingard made a strong case for himself with a cheeky backfoot pass which has left the fans in an awe of him. It may not have resulted in a goal, but the attempt was simply fabulous.
Just five minutes ahead of the break with United already leading 2-1, Paul Pogba made a looping backhead pass which set Lingard afloat in the air and lay off for an ambushing Lukaku with a back pass that was out of this world.
The 24-year old is often one of the unsung heroes for United with a self-effacing personality. Never hogging the limelight. But that pass, that one pass from him, is now wreaking havoc online. Fans are in an absolute delirium and cannot stop throwing bouquets at him.
Just watch that flick once. And then, watch it again –
Following the acquisition of Alexander Lacazette from Olympique Lyonnais in a whopping deal, manager Arsene Wenger has apparently claimed to be open for a few more signings. Though Thomas Lemar’s name wasn’t explicitly mentioned, his recent activity suggests the move may just be on the cards.
Supposedly on a vacation, Lemar was spotted in Switzerland where a fan donning an Arsenal shirt clicked a picture with him and also described the former’s excitement in doing so. If anything, this is seen as an indirect indication of his impending move to Emirates.
The Frenchman has been tight-lipped about his future, although the talks of a move to Arsenal have been in the air even before the 2016/17 season came to a conclusion. Nor have Arsenal made anything public about this.
Yet, this picture does come at a time when the cream is rising to the top. Just when a deal may be finally struck. With the summer window just 18 days since ajar, there is still a lot to come and a lot to go.
Arsenal fans can only hope. But after this pic, even believe. Check out the tweets from the fan below –
Tottenham Hotspur’s hugely successful 2016/17 season in the Premier League was largely down to a few players. Dele Alli was surely one of them. The 21-year old dazzled the league with his prodigious talent, scoring 22 times in 50 appearances, and despite nearly two months since its conclusion, the England star seems to carry his rich vein of form. Albeit, off the field.
The former MK Dons man is shimmering just as ever, as his bae Ruby Mae put up a picture of the two on the social media recently which saw them all smiles as his vacation nears the end.
Clad in a stunning gold color bikini, Mae is currently accompanying the Spurs hotshot in LA and the duo were recently spotted jetting on a yatch across the luscious waters to Vegas, their reportedly last spot before Alli returns to training to prepare for the pre-season.
The midfielder oozed swag in his plain white T-shirt and board shorts with shining glasses on. Alli had only recently splurged millions to celebrate his adoptive brother Harry Hickford’s 21st birthday, whilst there were also reports of a wild party in California.
Alli may be the future of England’s midfielder, but surely knows how to be a star off the field too. A total baller!

It’s been a long time since Leeds United were last seen in the Premier League. Despite their best efforts, the West Yorkshire haven’t even made it to the play-offs in the recent memory. However, with the kind of lineup that has surfaced online, there’s a possibility.
On paper, this starting XI does look a formidable one. The backline conceded 47 goals last season, which doesn’t give a account of itself. But considering this was the third best record in the league last season, maintaining these standards would lay the foundations.
There isn’t much changes in the midfield, although the biggest thing to happen to Leeds this summer is the addition of Samuel Saiz. The Spaniard has had quite a resounding time at Huesca in Spain’s second tier, and replicating the same form in the Championship would definitely mean an immense boost.
Aiding him in the attack is last season’s most prolific player, Chris Wood, who took home the Golden Boot with an impressive 27 strikes, which was also his career best in the Championship. The New Zealand international has witnessed a rise in his stock in the recent years, and with an improved support system, should take it up a notch further.
This Leeds side may not be the best side to be assembled, but it does have potential. It does raises hope.

Hull City star David Myler has always been vocal about his liking towards Liverpool. He has even gone on to express his desire to don the red of Liverpool on multiple occasions before. However having played most of his time in the Championship didn’t help his cause.
And now after a while Myler is back to eulogising Liverpool and everything related to that. Including Roberto Firmino.
In a witty reply to a fan who proposed he could replace the Brazilian should he sign for the Reds, Myler suggests he would sign even if it is just for polishing his boots. Whilst he is definitely kiddin’, the tweet has garnered a lot of hoots from the fans.
Besides, it is also a sarcastic way to express the extent to which he admires the player, the club alike. The Irishman has already endeared to the Liverpool faithfuls when he recently took a dig at rival club Everton when he said Lukaku isn’t playing for Liverpool when an Everton fans claimed the Belgian is leaving the greatest club on earth.
Myler is often seen in the Liverpool half of a fight, whenever emerges one, on the social media. And also singing their praises.

The social media has also become a platform for mocking your friends, loved ones, the rival fans in sports. Or in some cases, your own team-mates. Erik Sviatchenko just coolly did the same to his Celtic team-mate Leigh Griffiths.
The Danish international was seen taking the piss after he liked a satirical post on popular photo sharing app Instagram which asked its followers to tag anyone with nice hair. Funnily enough the post was accompanied with a picture of Leigh Griffiths.
Griffith, albeit just 26, is already hit with baldness, as is very evident from the image.
Sviatchenko was recently in the eye of the storm after a poor performance in Celtic’s game against Linfield in a Champions League qualifier. His latest activity on Twitter comes as a smart way to veer away from all the tantrums, for the time being.

Premier League giants Liverpool got their pre-season commitments off to a whimper as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Championship side Wigan Athletic. However, their latest acquisition Mohamed Salah, who made his unofficial debut in the match, produced a moment of magic which is enough for the fans to be optimistic ahead of the new season.
In a video clip that emerged online, the Egyptian could be seen picking up the ball (for the first time as a Liverpool player) near the half way line and slaloming past a pair of white and blue shirts to invade the final third. Although the finishing lacked the cutting edge as he racked it up high up in the stands, but the aplomb with which he made the run was surely a moment to behold.
The diminutive midfielder joined the red half of Merseyside on a £34.3 million transfer from Italian side AS Roma, where he spent two highly successful seasons. Salah comes in as a vital addition as Liverpool shore up their arsenal ahead of another Premier League assault and also the added Champions League challenge.
The going is getting tough, and looks like Salah is here to the rescue. The 25-year old was also on target in the game as he leveled the scores with his strike, but it was that run in the game that has espied a couple of eyes.
So Salah can dribble, and dribble well. And the Premier League defenders are warned!
