Joe Hart and Gareth Barry gifted Southampton two goals and probably had one of the worst days in a football pitch as Southampton caused a major upset in the Premier League. Artur Boruc was immense at the goal for Southampton. Jason Puncheon scored first which was followed by Steven Davis/Joe Hart goal. Edin Dzeko equalized but Gareth Barry scored the most awesome own goal in the history of the game to make sure Southampton won the match.

At times, Southampton were like Barcelona in this match. No kidding, it was tiki taka all over.

Michu started it early and then Swansea City just kept going as they thrashed QPR 4-1. Angel Rangel and Pablo Hernandez scored a goal each as Bobby Zamora scored the solitary goal from Harry Redknapp’s side.

Arsenal showed a lot of mental strength today maybe except Carl Jenkinson who was sent off in the second half. Santi Cazorla’s goal turned out to be the winner as he turned out to be the savior for the Gunners. Aaron Ramsey, had a great game too, even when he was right back, bombarding forward all the time.

Arsenal grind out a win against Sunderland, it hasn’t happen much before, the grinding part.

Marko Marin scored his first goal in a Chelsea shirt as the Blues thrashed Wigan 4-1. Rafa Benitez has probably saved his job for one match more as Chelsea never looked in doubt of securing the three points. Most of Chelsea’s regular goalscorers were on target but Al Habsi saved all Torres’ shots. No respite for him.

Gareth Bale just keeps getting better and better this season. Again carried the whole Tottenham side for all 90 minutes and scored two superb goals which included the eventual match winner. The first goal was the best of the match though, a genius free kick and Krul had no chance to save that.

New signing Yoan Gouffran did equalize for the Toons with a massively deflected shot. Unfortunately though, Gouffran was stretchered out of the ground later in the match with a injury.

A very high tempo game and both the sides were never out of it. But a superb run by Bale at the saw him score the winner for the London side.

A super play from Newcastle saw them level back the scoreline. It was 1-1 after Yoan Gouffran scored his first goal for Newcastle United after his January transfer from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

Mightily assisted by Moussa Sissoko, Gouffran slotted home the ball with the help of a mighty deflection

Gareth Bale, who was recently compared with Cristiano Ronaldo. even was considered better than the Portuguese player scored a screaming free kick to give Tottenham Hotspur the lead against Newcastle United at White Hart Lane.
