Rogerio Ceni, The Goalkeeper Who Can’t Stop Scoring (Video)

Rogerio Ceni is a legend at Sao Paulo. He is a goalkeeper who scores through his free kicks and then runs back to his own net. It is alike a routine. More than 1000 appearances and more than 100 goals. It was phenomenal already.

And now he has done it again, after coming back from a shoulder surgery, Rogerio Ceni helped Sao Paulo win over Bahia with his signature free kick. Sao Paulo was playing Bahia in a Copa Sudamericana match.

Best Buys: Top 10 Best Signings of the Summer Transfer Window So Far

Best Buys: Top 10 Best Signings of the Summer Transfer Window So Far

The start of summer transfer window saw some abrupt buying by clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal & QPR. Things have slowed down a bit, so it feels like the ideal to time to dish out the top 10 best signings so far.

The list is in no particular order.

1) Shinji Kagawa (Manchester United)

From: Borussia Dortmund

One of the best players for Bundesliga Champions Borussia Dortmund last season, Shinji Kagawa is the real deal. Manchester United wants the Premier League title back and the signing has made that intention clear.

2) Park Ji Sung (QPR)

From – Manchester United

Probably the best buy of the season so far. QPR has got a steal. Park Ji Sung’s work rate is probably one of the best in Premier League. His experience in the league too will help QPR a lot.

3) Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

From – Lille

A big money deal. With Chelsea, big money is always associated but this time they perhaps have got a player who is worth every penny. Eden Hazard is one of the most exciting youngsters in the World today.

4) Michu (Swansea City)

From – Rayo Vallecano

Michael Laudrup, himself, seem like a pretty good signing. But he is the manager, of course. He has signed Michu, the Spanish attacking midfielder for just £2 million from Rayo Vallecano.

5) Gylfi Sigurdsson (Tottenham Hotspur)

From – (Hoffenheim)

Gylfi Sigurdsson has had Premier League experience with Swansea city last season. And if the pre season performances are anything to go by, he would be Spurs main player in 2012/13 season.

6) Lukas Podolski (Arsenal)

From – Cologne

More than 100 international caps for Germany. Enough said.

7) Jordi Alba (Barcelona)

From – Valencia

Jordi Alba was brilliant for Spain in the recently concluded Euros. Barcelona might have just got the right team this time around to capture the La Liga from Real Madrid.

8) Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich)

From – FC Basel

This transfer deal was actually completed in February 2012 only. Shaqiri would be at the center of a new look Bayern Munich side.

9) Oscar (Chelsea)

From – Internacional

It’s a steal, for any amount of money. Brilliant in the Olympics, so far. The Brazilian will provide the much needed flair at the Chelsea midfield.

10) Mario Mandzukic (Bayern Munich)

From – Wolfsburg

The Croat was brilliant for Wolfsburg last season with his super heading abilities and showed at the Euros why Bayern Munich wanted him so much.

Real Madrid, Super Bad at Baseball (Video)

Real Madrid, Super Bad at Baseball (Video)

Real Madrid boasts of having one of the greatest football squads presently. There is no doubt about that. But nobody could imagine that they would be so bad at Baseball, which is a very popular sport. There was no hand eye co-ordiantion, especially from Gonzalo Higuain. Jose Callejon seemed a little better but had no idea where to run after hitting the ball.

Check out the misery below.

Crowd Whistles, Goalkeeper Fooled, Concedes Goal, Comedy Galore (Video)

Hilarious goalkeeping error in this Europa League match between Rapid Vienna (Wien) and Vojvodina Novi Sad. Rapid Vienna goalkeeper Lukas Konigshofer made a huge blunder towards the end of the match and Rapid Vienna lost the match 2-1.

Lukas Konigshofer, Raid Vienna, upon hearing the whistle towards the end, rolled the ball, casually, like you are suppose to. But in this case, the whistle came from someone in the crowd. Vojvodina’s Milan Bojovic pounced on it and scored the winning goal.
